Greetings all, I'm back and I've finally taken decent pictures of my updated army.

My legion is known as the Inamoratas, a coalition of followers of Tzeentch and Slaanesh who serve the Lord Sorcerer known as Seraphos.

So without anymore delay, here's what I've got for you all so far.

This is Seraphos, my main HQ. I run him as a Sorcerer with the mark of Tzeentch and familiar, with the spells Warptime, Winds of Chaos, and Bolt of Change. He's modeled using several different bits from chaos and standard space marines. His skirt was green stuffed. He's a tad short because I used brettonian legs (they were all I had, and you don't see them anyway).

This is Palasir, my secondary HQ. He's a chaos lord with wings, Blissgiver, and the mark of Slaanesh. He's rather awesome, but you wouldn't imagine just how often he gets killed in utterly humiliating ways. He was made using some kind of emperor's champion model. The sword is from the fantasy warrior sprue, the wings genestealer talons, and the right arm a Daemonette claw. Extensive GS was used to mold the wings to his back and the claw to his elbow... lol.

Now, some may recognize this little onyx golem (reaper) daemon prince from a while back... lol. Well, now he's a much more definitive and identified model. He's my Daemon Sorcerer prince, a DP with the mark of Tzeentch, Gifts of Chaos and Bolt of Change. All I really had to change was his positioning, weapon, and horns.

This is Malyphyla, my Daemon Princess of Slaanesh, with wings and Lash of submission. I completely forget what the model I used as a base was, but the head and sword came from the chaos knight sprue. the wings I clipped off some plastic toy, and the entirety of the torso, neck, and back were greenstuffed, and as was the loincloth.

Here's renshara, finally uploaded with paint. She's in my summoned daemon squad. GS hair and a few other modifications such as horns and a double pronged claw were relatively easy to do with some cutting... lol.

This, my friends, is the champion in my biker squad. Yes, my bikers ride horses. He's got a terminator power fist and a bolt pistol, other than that and a bit of GS, he's straight from the knight box.

Terminators anyone? This is the standard bearer in my termie squad. This more or less shows their color scheme. The shield shoulder is mostly because my sprue was missing a shoulder pad, but it looked awesome anyway. The banner came from the Daemonette sprue.

Here are some regulars. My color scheme obviously revolves around hormogaunt purple and warlock purple. The 'flame' is a ponytail.

These are my noise marines, not finished painting, but I'm more showing off the guns here. Doom siren came from the vehicle sprue. Blastmaster is a flamer with a devourer head, and the sonic blasters are bolters with tubes instead of magazines and different barrels. (there are three more)

Getting into works in progress, here's Seraphos's Disc, just made last night. I used necron torsos around a small base to complete the shape, then GS to sculpt the eye and fire in the back. I'm going to magnetize it so that Sraphos can be removed and put back on with ease.

Here's my in progress Terminator Seraphos. I used terminator legs, a standard SM torso, Knight arms, and GS for the skirt. The staff was made from a knight's spear, the ring from the nugle icon (lots of cutting was needed to separate the sculls and such from the middle) and the tzeentch symbol from the vehcle sprue. He still needs a head, shoulder pads, and a proper backpack, but overall I'm very happy with him.

These are my Obliterators, two of them at least. They aren't painted right now due to my lack of proper colors for them. (they won't be purple). The bodies are terminators, the right arms are constructed with several guns and weapons, the left is a powerfist with another gun on it. the top one's face is a genestealer, and the bottom one is Mr. Bubbles, AKA a big daddy. lol. Sorry if the black keeps away detail, I'll try to get better pics when I paint them.

That's all for now, lemme know what you all think.

I was a kid now AND a squid now before it was cool.

Dude, love the grimdark on those marines.

Especially love the while splash on the helmet of one of the marines with the red scar, I like the weapon converts as well, and that disk is FANTASTIC. Well done on that score.

Oblits are pretty well done as well.

Keep it up!

I like Seraphos, he really gives off a dark evil psyker vibe. Also I'm liking renshara, shes got an evil clown look that adds to the creepy factor. But by far my favorite is Mr. Bubbles, what can I say I'm a big bioshock fan. how did you make him?

Admiral Chester W Nimitz wrote:The war with Japan had been re-enacted in the game rooms here by so many people and in so many different ways, that nothing that happened during the war was a surprise.

My Cold War NATO IG, love to know what you think

Bubbles was made with a standard black reach terminator.

His head is the spotlight from the vehicle sprue, he gun arm is the same (roughly) as the other terminator, and the drill is a screw. (I had to take a hack saw to it to get the head off. That wasn't fun. lol)

I'm sorry but I'm a realist. Your conversions are nice but painting is just...(words that should be ment on nurgle). You need to practice basic brush control more.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

im with you honestly the conversions are basic which is fine we all have to start sumewhere, but theirs nothing really nice about the models overall, like you could have done a little metals and what nots on the lords showing joints and on a overall sense you say this and that model have wings but you model nothing to really SHOW they have wings or flight of any kind. IM sorry to sound harsh but honestly it seems you went for more of a powerhouse list instead of creating a solid story behind it all, and didnt want to take the time to at least be WYSIWYG.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Empchild:

I go for story, I'm not a powerhouse player. I have a very limited selection of paints, I don't own a single metallic color. I did in fact model wings, they are daemonic 'bone wings', if you had eyes, you'd see that.

I'm aware that my painting sucks. I'm not a painter, I'm a modeler.

Thank you.

Palasar and mal whatever dont. I was being straight so no need to start getting upset. When you post on a public forum you have to expect some at times harsh criticism. it happens, and I wont apologize. Just to bad you honestly cant have some maturity and just say hey thanks for the comments ill remember that in the future, or hey ok what are some ways I can improve my painting for whichhey we all have tons of tips for everyone. Take it however you so choose but no need for childish insults.

Wow. The modeling is very impressive, especially Big Daddy! However, the marines would look a lot better if they were painted with less fluorescent colors. This is especially noticeable on the blade/other weapons.

Empchild: For starters, thank you very much for calling me immature, I really do appreciate being insulted by someone who can't even use proper punctuation or grammar.

Secondly, I do appreciate criticism, however when things are blatant insults, or simply don't make sense, I do in fact get irritated.

To clarify things, since you obviously are incapable of understanding, Palasir is the Chaos lord with the bonelike wings, flaming sword, and Daemonette claw. The one with the crusader helmet and pink armor.

Malyphyla is the big, pink Daemon Prince with the huge wings and long tongue.

The caption is below the respective photo, not above it. The big silver and blue suit of armor is a Daemon Prince. He doesn't have wings.

Wierdoom: Well, the entire point is deep purple armor with magenta trim. The power weapons are pink on my slaanesh troops, and blue on my tzeentch ones. It's just my style.

Im sorry I stand very correct now I will be so kind as to offer some painting advice. Thin down your paints a bit and give a solid foundation layer; up this you can do the highlight, but as it stands you need to create that foundation. Beyond that best of luck with the army.
