So I want some Chaos Space Marines with pairs of Lightning Claws. Anyone have any ideas on what would be best to use because I do not believe they make pairs of lightning claws for space marines or chaos space marine models, only terminators.

Well you could use the terminator claws. Or use 2 powerfists with a sword on each or just make them yourself.

convert lots of them?

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Try to find a right and left sword arms and say they count as Lighting Claws?

There's only this one, a right hander here, a plastic left hander in the SM Commander set, and 2 pairs in every Space Wolves Pack box.

the new space wolf pack box has a pair, wont take much work to shave off 1 or 2 emblems.

Should have them on ebay soon, possibly even now.

Yep, as mentioned, the new SW sprue has two pairs.

Alternatively, grab some Dark eldar sprues. There must be millions of these that people never bothered to use. They have good spiky bits that are perfect for LC blades.

OK, that's a sick conversion. Could also work for Mark of the Wulfen too.

Made these using the regular powerfists from kits and then cutting the fingers off at the last knuckle and then shaving down scything talons from gaunts

Those claws are ridiculous. And what's with the Terminator head?

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

A quick way to do it is to use chaos termie claws - clip the claws off at the end of the glove section while making sure you also keep attached the power cabling that goes to the shoulder (easy to do) so there is no arm section, only the glove and the claws, because that is still a hell of a lot.

Clip two CSM arms right up near the shoulder, and then glue the two bits together - reattach the cabling to the shoulder of the new CSM shoulder, and you're done.

What part of that conversion is from the dark eldar set? Is it the whole lot of 2 claws and the back plate?

The claws were clipped off of guns, the backplate is greenstuff. But disposable24 suggested using Tau shoulder pads, which would be a lot easier.

I like these blades because they appear lighter and faster than GW's modified power fists, which seem a bit heavy for regular power armour.

I agree, they look spot on for an assault marine. Thanks for the info
