How do you feel about cheat codes? I never use them personally. Do YOU?

Almost never. as it feels like im inferior then normal people if i need to cheat to pass what they dont need to cheat with.

DO they even use those in games anymore? I havent picked up a game guide that gives cheats in along time?

Usually game guides are used for walkthroughs and techniques to beat the game WITHOUT cheats. Cheats are found on the internet.

I had to use it on oblivion for 1) My game saved me with a bounty of 30 mil.( no idea how) 2) I had to get out of a instant death trap becuase of a bug, and 3)My boots of springheel jack were no longer there!

I don't think the skulls count as cheats. But then again, in the old days they'd probably have been called that - for example, the big heads cheat in goldeneye. You could unlock it through gameplay (like in halo 3), or enter an actual cheat code to get it. Cheating to gets cheats?

Anyway, I don't usually use cheat codes or exploits or anything like that - at least not in competitive play. But like cheese said, they can be fun to mess around with in singleplayer sometimes.

Especially the 'Wuv Woo' cheat in Age of Mythology.

That's a skull in Halo Wars, actually; it makes all Scarabs fire 'beams of pure love'.

Hahaha, yeah, I remember that one. They shoot rainbow beams that create little floating hearts....and it just occurred to me that not once when I was testing that out did I shout "CARE BEAR STARE".

I only use cheats if the game would be boring without them. Like GTA

I dont normally use them. Sometimes if I get stuck and have no way to figure it out. OR if I rent a game and only have it for a few days, and want to see the end of it lol. Then MAYBE Ill use one then

I usually play games without them, but there are a few games that I use them to have fun. Games like GTA, etc.

Or when I have completed a game and again I want to have fun.

I have been known to use a walk through on games that require you to find a hundred million things in order to get all the achivements.

Nope. Only time I use them is if I have already played the game through and am trying to check out a particular thing
