Facility maintenance or janitor. Either way it's been voted as best place to work multiple times. I filed out for multiple positions. My mother in law has worked there for 30+ years. She is the longest tenured employee with them. Hopefully that helps get me in the door. It's entry level but great benefits and good wages. And with obamacare......May be one of the only safe jobs for the next year or two.

well...good luck...i always feel that way when the family wants to go on a holiday...i would rather stay at home...seriously... you hav to sit cramped together in small cars, eat stale food, and have the kids cooking at an anoying level of boredom...and after a certain time i get seasick on the road too...i hate voyages... beside...the good stuff not really happens for me outside...it´s inside...but since my wife thinks otherwise...*bzzzzzzz....brainwashing commences....* "hmmm...how about a nice short trip honey?"

and i personally like walters comments about his bladder...that always cracks me up... that and his recollections of his LSD trips

Well luckily vik it's a short trip without the kids. Between flight times we are really only there two full days, with early out flight on Sunday and we land there late Thursday afternoon but my brother in law is picking us up around 6 pm from the airport, probably a drive to get to his place after that.

My main wants for the trip is to see the 9/11 memorial, Chinatown, little Italy, grand central station, tour Central Park and see the skyscrapers, just the skyline. Not going to tourist traps or the long line places. I'm fine with catching a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty and other sites.

Plus we're staying at their house and using their spare car so we won't have stale food. At worst our new niece will keep us up all night with her crying...colic.

Also a bummer my online class I've had just rescheduled the midterm for 4 days to guess when??? That's right it starts the night we leave and ends the night I come home. So I have to pack my schoolbook and notes for the class. It's a good thing I wake up before my wife, hopefully I can finish it while she's sleeping and not worry about ruining our trip.

Vik must pack sandwiches on his family trips ala Vacation..just watch out for the dog

The dog , reminds me my brother in law has two dogs. Better make sure I pack the allergy medicine in my carry on bag.

Waiting for my geometry class to begin, hopefully it helps my modeling skills, because it doesn't help towards my degree.

I feel like that gift now. My wife is not a morning person , doesn't even like being talked to until she's been awake or a least an hour. She one up extra early 4:30 am today because he's excited to go, but I was up late with school. She tossed and turned in bed, nudged me a few times to see if was up, and cleared her throat A LOT. I finally got up and left the room, she was upset that I didn't talk to her as I got up . This is going to be a hell of a trip .

Still an hour before I get the kids up for school and 3+ hours till we leave for the airport, luckily divorce lawyers sleep in late or hey might get a call this morning.

Oh mate! What a coincidence... My wife reacted that way in bed today too... Bet it must be because we have full moon? And indeed with added schoolwork and colic toddler...this will be an amazing or should I say filled with suspense...

All the best with job Theo. Must be a wife thing, mine was awake from half 1. Still, meant she cleared season 4 glee off the hard disk. Sigh.

@ Vik - probably a stupid question, but have you tried putting one end of his bed up on blocks (or books)? We found it really helped with Joe when colic-y.

Not my kids are colic... Thank the heavens... Mostly boys get this early three months in a row malfunction...must be that men are a bit undone...(my inner wife talking here^^

I'm in NY , I'll be running the place in 12 hours . Thinking about pretending to be mr. Chen, he has a limo waiting what's my chances of pulling that off?

I didn't read the sign good enough...it was for mrs. Chen , needless to say I didn't pull that one off. My brother in law leaves early for work, so I'm up at my equivellent of 3am to shower so he can drop us of at the train this morning to ride into NYC. Had New York style pizza last night from a family restaurant, huge slices you have to fold in half to even fit in your mouth, then went to their favorite homemade ice cream shop. My new niece is beautiful, and I haven't heard her cry all night, so much for the colic we heard horror stories about. I forgot to take my allergy medicine last night, so horrible headache this morning so far, especially cause of the two dogs I pet ferociously last night. See you guys later, and get to work, cause I must live vicariously through your riveting the next few days.

Not as bad as that in Neu Ulm, but had a flaky dough pastry like pizza at a restaurant in that city was a very odd pizza experience. Delivery place made what they called a "Pizza-Calzone by simply making then folding a soft crusted pizza over in half.

yup... my first calzone was a new expierience for me too...i felt like a noob...^^...thought they´d ruined the pizza back then

well... to be honest i more eat fridge pizza...so fresh pizza is another matter...

Just checking in. Been to grand central station, Statue of Liberty, boat cruise, 9/11 museum and memorial, was at a restaurant that was on a tv show called bar rescue, but didn't eat there as it's Irish cuisine. Now ad rocker feller center waiting to go to the top floor observation level. Passed Empire State Building, and the MIB headquarters seems to be undergoing renovations, at least thaw what mr. Black told me after flashy thinging me multiple times.
