My favourite is Chaos Plague marines because the models look so darn cool, they are tough and there is loads of scope ofr conversion. I hate Space Marines because they are too boring.

Necrons, they have zero personality (obviously beacuse thet are machines) and their model range is sooooo limited.

SM, simply because they get 2-3 codex for every one of another race...


Also the fact that they are in every starter set blows too!

I hate the eldar.

God damn space elves... I just want to crush them! but they have the most annoying vehicles + characters, making them far more powerful than space elves have any right to be.

After my last thread...CHAOS lol well not really but they arent exactly high on my list

Space Marines. They are babied by GW, and they are in my opinion, way over powered. Everything in their army, 3+ save. Their "standard" bolter, can negate most average troops armor save. They are simply an annoyance.

Eldar. Dire Avengers in Wave Serpents are the bane of my Orks.

i really dont like vanilla marines because they are nooby cheesy easy to paint and op...BUT...i do like traitor guard *ahem*

I really don't like Necron, Space Marines, or Daemonhunters. Despite my Tau's high strength weaponry, they lack a wide variety of long-range, low AP weaponry...oh, and Daemonhunters suck because I can't see them until it's too late.

I'm going to have to go with Tau. They just don't seem to fit with the Grimdark Atmosphere of the 40k universe. It seems to me that they are just GW's appeal to anime fans. Which (being someone who hates most, if not all, anime) makes me cringe.

Oh well, it's fun to stomp them in CC.

i hate plague marines because typhus killed two whole squads of veterans.

Marines are no more or less "overpowered" than any other codex. They're in small numbers, and very, very easy to counter. While they're balanced and good at everything to an extent, they can be outdone by specialists from any army. I'm not refuting that you don't like them - you're entitled to that; but they sure as sugar aren't "overpowered" as no army in 40k is.

To contribute: Necrons. I get bored playing against them. Everything is pretty much the same and just takes forever to die, but doesn't put out enough fire for me to be scared. No model or unit variety.

CSM- I don't hate the CSM, (I'm actually quite fond of defilers) just their codex.

You should add 'ultrasmurfs' as an option.

I agree with Horst, im not a big fan of space elves.

Bugs. Did I miss them on the list?


Mostly because all my games against them have me playing the part of Cap Troopers and their landing on planet "P".

I know I've said many time's I'm annoyed by space Fairies, the army I hate the most is Emperors Childron (sorry ShadowBrand ) Simply because they make so litttle sense, and I suppose it came from ther Primarch-They fell to easily in the background in my eys.

Oh, and their pink. Pink is not a good camoflague colour. Only Imperial Fits can pull of not wearing muted colours and still be badass.

I don't hold it against GW (really never imagined this was a lure for budding young power gamers), I just can't imagine they'd be very satisfying to paint if you like painting at all.

I actually hate every non-human race.

Necrons- They are just warriors, stupid. Nothing but warriors. Bleh.

SM- Everyone thinks theyre so good, theyre not, and a lot of people have an army of them. Bleh.

Im 30, i only play casually, i like football and pints and i dont have any tattoos or piercings or wear black clothes.

When i went to pick up Assault on Black Reach after a ten year absence in the GW near my house, this fat beardy guy with lots of piercings in his face said to me "i bet you play Ultramarines dont you?" I promptly asked him how he made this assesment, he said "you just look like you do"

I was going to start an Orc army.....

As a result I dislike Chaos SM and Dark Eldar because lots of angry mouth breathing pasty greebo's like them.

As a result i play Ultramarines almost exclusively.
