Is there a limit to the number of non-weapon biothingies you can give a Carnifex?

Nope, unless it states if you take "A" you cant have "B".

You can take pretty much any ones you want.
You just cant take both types of tail weapons.

You can have as many "head biomorphs"(assuming you mean regen/bioplasma/implant attack, et al, that are shown on the head) as you can pay for/model. It is "back biomorphs" (spore cysts/spinebanks/thornback) and tails that are restricted.
And 1 set of crushing claws.

Yeah there is a limit but you can still easily deck them out at well over 200 points. AHHH dakkafexes!

You can deck them out at over 300 points.

You still have to keep them in synapse range though if your near force weapons or skull taker (instant death for a fex sucks big time)

Kirsanth pointed out what i missed (the back upgrades as such and claws)

Other than whats been said though, feel free to make a 300 point godfex

The most expensive Carnifex possible is 342 points.

I'd reccomend against making a three hundred point Godfex. Godfexen are easy to kill with Plasma weaponry and waste alot of points on upgrades they'll never use.

I have to agree, the walking Beetle of Death is nice in theory and to look at, but when actually put on the battlefield....it doesn't fair as well as the fluff might make it sound. >_< sad truth.

Cheers!

Yes, they are usually silly, but I LOVE throwing them against a new player and watching them go "It's HOW many points!?!?!?! And you have THREE?!?!?!"

I wouldn't worry folks. In a month's time you'll have a whole new set of options (Read: Fewer options and less flavour) to play with.
