Ummm, Death Guard is pretty badass. I play a mech DG.

As for Tzeentch, I really don't know much, in the CSM 'dex it shows these guys called Oracles of Change, but they aren't even anywhere on the Internet. For Tzeentch Legions, I am afraid you're out of luck, man. Unless of course you create your own Tzeentch Traitor Legion.

Tzeentch is awesome and have a great paint scheme & story.

Honestly, if you care about having a unique army at all, dont go with Death Guard (or any form of Nurgle). Id say at least 60% of the active legion players alone play death guard, and another 25% play Khorne.

Hmm, that still only comes out to 85%. The percentages are probably even higher.

Anyways, I would definitely look into:

Tzeentch
Slaneesh
Alpha Legion
Night Lords
Word Bearers

Very very few people play these armies, are all awesome, and need some love too.

Well, even though I'm part of that 85% (?) that Night Lords mentioned,I have to admit he's right,Death Guard and World Eaters do tend to get most of the "love",but there are other good choices available.

If you don't care for the look of 1K Sons, but still like the idea of a Tzeentch themed army, then you should just make your own "renegade" force, after all with the current CSM codex there are no Legions anyway.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

You dont have to use 1k sons models to represent them just use the "counts as" 1k sons. There are also the scourged along with oracles of change that worship tzeentch. There are very few chapters that worship tzeentch. Also as said before by Night Lords alpha, night lords and iron warriors are other cool options too.

kSons were a lot stronger in the last edition. They really need a codex that focuses on their legion.

Legions don't exist any more. They're just paint jobs on the exact same army.

I'm really into pre-heresy, I just think 1k sons are over- priced and not worth it.

oohhh i thought you meant you don't like the colors not the models or price! then just buy a TAC squad and paint them 1k sons? it doesn't really matter.

You could also use greenstuff and convert, or ebay....

Tzeentch was good in 4E, not so much in 5E.

But if that's what you want, go for it!

Go for it.
You can always count as all your 'Tzeentch' marines as Plague Marines...

We all know Grandfather Nurgle has the most lovin' to give and receive.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
