This is almost as bad as Gaga.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

I can't tell the difference between her and GaGa, tbh.

Both make the same disposable synth-driven pop drivel.

I suppose it's sort of like hearing metal for the first time (or for whiny old people); it all sounds like "screechy guitars and yelling." There's a vast difference, if you take the time to look (not that most would care that much or it would be rewarding for them). Now, less hate Gaga, more hate puberty-sounding Ke$ha!

Less of the "hate GaGa" and more of the "hate dance music, generally" from me.

More of a blues and Jazz man, meself, but do have a certain fondness for some metal (a handful of bands.)

No, screaming does not qualify as music.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I think Warner Bros. presentation of Yoko Ono is pretty accurate, insofar as it is completely horrible. For your viewing enjoyment:

It really wasn't much different to Lady Gaga at all - her voice is slightly different, but the production and overall style was practically identical. It wouldn't have sounded out of place on 'The Fame'. Once it got to the chorus I quite liked it - which is more than I can say for anything I've heard by Gaga. There were some pretty creative flourishes, production-wise. Hated the verse for the most part.

That 'Vanilla' song was an 'industry' piss-take, IIRC. It was an attempt to see the depths to which the record-buying public would sink. They purposely made the song irritating and selected the worst vocalists they could find, and tried to get it to No.1. It got to No.14.

Then, by simple principal, I will denounce anything you like to listen to and say it is not music at all...

Seriously, though... I like screaming in my music. And that blanket statement also defaced the 8 other musicians in the band. Give them credit on technical merit alone... even if you dislike Corey's vocal style...
Speaking of that... Have you even really listened to Slipknot? Just curious...

DID YOU KNOW: That technically speaking, speech is a form of music? When you order your voice into patterns of speech they take on a musical quality - they create musemetic patterns (units of individual musical meaning), - comprising pitch, tonal quality and timbre - which relate to each other. So yes, even in isolation and taken out of the wider musical context of 'metal', screaming can be considered music.

I have spoken.

When I worked in a casino a lady had won ten thousand dollars ($10,000). I'd always liked to see people win (y’know, take a little bit out instead of the other way around). She was happy but she expressed to me that the last couple of days she had lost over $9000 dollars playing slot machines (probably a conservative estimate, I mean, would you tell if you lost more than you won) and that she really needed this. Okay, I thought, she looked like a rich old bird and it was her money, she could be doing something better with it but who cares. She then changed her tone and started explaining how she “deserved” this and she really acted as if it was her right to win this. Yeah, okay lady, you and every other gambler. I went and made the check out, when I returned she gratefully took the check and then looked at me proudly and said. “Half of this check is going to help pay for my son’s cancer bills. He really needs the help and I’m going to help him.” Wait a fething minute here! Did she just say what I thought she said? Yes, she did and repeated it a few times. I shouldn’t have to explain why this is the most reproachable, disgusting and irritating thing I’ve ever heard. She did not tip and if this was her way to get out of one, it’s probably the most creative one I’ve heard.
