I've put the 'crons on the shelf for a time and picked up my marines again. Taking from the resources available I've put this list together. Any thoughts?

HQ: Demon Prince, MoT, Wings, Sorc, Warptime-175

HQ: Sorcerer, MoS, LoS-125

Elite: 4 Terminators, MoK, 2 combi meltas, 2 lightning claws, 1 heavy flamer, 1 powerfist, Raider transport w/ demon possesion-435

Troop: 10 CSM, 1 lascannon-170

Troop: 7 Berserkers, rhino w/ Extra armor-197

Troop: 7 Berserkers, Rhino w/ Extra armor-197

Troop: 7 Plague Marines, Champ with powerfist, plasma gun, Rhino w/ Extra armor-251

Heavy Support: Defiler, 2 CCW-150

Heavy Support: 2 Obliterators-150

DP is ok.
Sorc is ok, which squad will he hide in?

Termies are all over the place. I think a more focused role would make them do miles better.

CSM w/ lascannon: I think double special weapons are so much better. You get alot more usage from the rest of the squad than just beinf bullet magnets for that one guy.

Zerkers: I suggest 8 man squads and a special weapons. Extra armor is a pretty penny to use on rhinos.

Plague marines: always get the second special weapon for them, convert one even.

Hvies are ok, but you'd really want a second 'filer esp. at 1850...they really don't last long.

the sorc will be with the termies as i figured when they disembark the raider to assault, he can lash the enemy toward them to reel in the heavy flamer followed by a hurtful charge.

I just found 2 marines with converted melta's so im swappin out the lascannon for them

as far as the plague marine 2nd special weapon, i think i can rummage around some old marines i painted greenish when i was trying out Deathguard last codex, some should have specials

unfortunately i don't have a 2nd defiler, adding that to my christmas list though, the tournament is on sunday and i was signed up by my friends so i had little warning. Normally I'd take my Necrons but they had a rather shoddy performance in the league and I want their batteries to recharge while the chaos marines play.

If your running a Tzeech DP you always want Doombolt + Warptime. I highly suggest changing this one to Nurgle and having him hide on his way to tyhr frontlines to keep with a 4+ cover.

Good, run him in a rhino w/ some zerkers. That way he can lash out the top. Or run him with your PM's if your staying with 1 special weapon

I'm HIGHLY against using termis in raiders. Our raiders suck for termi transport as we can only carry 5 (as opposed to 8 in a LRC which is bad ass). I say scrap the termis. They are best termicided or foot slogging in a group of 10 with lightning claws and MoT (for fun anyway)

Ew... if thats what you have to do, I suppose it works. But its not good at all... havocs are far better. Get rid of this unit from the list IMO

last comments; Put a squad of zerkers in the raider. Use the points from that scrapped CSM squad to throw power fists and more zerkers in all your squads (especially the LR). You also need meltas I think on those plague marines. AV 14 will be the death if you. Hope this helped! Also run that sorc in your rhino zerker squad to shoot out. and like another guy said, 2 lashes are always better than 1, though I think 1 is more for utility than shenanigans.

Your army doesnt really have much to take advantage of lash. You only have three templates and the lash carrier is in a transport with no fire points. I think another demon prince or a sorcerer with warptime would be better for you.

Maybe try and get at least one chainfist on your terminators or melta bombs for your sorcerer. The last thing you want is to be stuck in combat with a walker that you can deal with.

Since your CSM are footslogging they would be better off having the two plasmas and your PMs having the meltas. I know you may not have the models imeadiately but its something to think about.

Your berzerkers should have plasma pistols. They dont do much, cost the earth and run the risk of killing your own (very expensive) man! Berzerkers should always have a champion with a powerfist, but little else.

Overall your list looks pretty solid. A little extra anti-tank would be nice but you should be fine unless you come up against a hardcore mech-IG army. Good luck in your tournament.

I don't really like the Lash Sorc, he will be riding in a transport so that would be kinda impractical, although I guess any powers would be like that...

Drop the Plasma Pistols on your Zerks, they are never worth it.

I like your Defiler.

Oblits are fine.

CSM are fine.

Get Skull Champs with Power fists in your Zerk squads, that's really the only worthwhile upgrade with them.

Other than that, your list looks solid.
