Hardly. We have reason to think one person's innocent. Thus, we've slightly increased our chances of lynching a Genestealer today.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

[Confirmation] Subject: Gornall - the reasons I voted for Dark_Oblitr8r are as follows.

• Child-like dependence on others, an effort to try and enamour himself to individuals to secure his position seems suspicious.
• Others in the collective have plausible background information, which while not entirely proving themselves innocent, gives a thorough basis for further investigation.
• Whilst I concur that LoG has provided next to no information, his obvious baiting of the more religious amongst us (myself included) is too horribly obvious. Why risk discovery by implicating yourself. More investigation is required.
• DO has made no solid or thorough effort to defend himself – this raises my suspicions as we are all defensive in this situation.

[Conclusion] Subject: Dark_Oblitr8r has raised and maintained mu suspicions throughout. Through logical dictation, he is the most likely to be seditious.

[Further note] It is comparably easy to point the finger of mistrust at this who are different, Gornall. I have suffered ire because of the differences in my appearance, demeanour and speech from non-augmented for 72 standard Terran Cycles. It has been a common fate for those of the Red Cloth to become the targets of the suspicious, the paranoid and the superstitious. I view your suspicion and rash dislike of me as simply knee-jerk prejudice and racial intolerance. A less logical individual could see it as try to silence me out of your own self-interest; however I do not think this is the case.

Suffering is necessary for the development of the soul. I do not begrudge you your dislike of me based on our abundant differences. I would implore you however, to not let it cloud your judgement. It is one thing to be accused because of guild, and quite another to be accused because one is different.

I felt that repeating you would be an easier way to explain myself. I don't go into much detail about what I'm doing, because there is little detail to tell you. I must have boarded this ship by mistake as I was heading to Baal, not Terra, to see my terminally ill paraplegic mother, and look after her, spend time with her. But more importantly, to give her something to live for. My father disapeared before my mother knew she was carrying me, and I am an only child.

[humour] how droll Oblitr8r.

I do not base my suspisions on the fact you are a child, which would be a prejudice on my part of I did. Nor do I base it on any racial prejudice, we are both, after all hopefully human.

I base my suspicion on your eccentric and hysterical behaviour, plus your partially see-through story of boarding the wrong vessel (Baal & Terra are not even in the same segmentum)

You're mimicking of my own points to try and daemonise me is moot, as you clearly lack the understanding or strength of mind to make your own deductions.

[conclusion] my vote stands, you are now scrabbling to defend yourself now that several of the colective have become suspicious of you.

No, I felt that what you said was better than what I can think of, because I felt you'd understand it a bit better.

I realise that you have good reasons to suspect me, but I assure you, you are mistaken. If you don't see the light, you WILL be helping those responsible.

I merely made a mistake, and it looks like its going to cost me my life...

The Gheistos Cataclysm.... that name had rung a bell in my memory from what seems like ages ago....

then it hit me. about 20 years ago, I was one most fortunate to meet a member of the Great Adeptus Astartes. Clad in gigantic black armor, adorned with Purity Badges and symbols of the crusaders. He was a member of the Black Templar and he spoke of a great heresy that occured on Gheistos....

He did not say much, but from I gathered, a great evil had appeared and plagued the world with death and destruction, him and his brothers could not stop the evil presence and the world was destroyed.

someone asked me earlier what I knew about the appearance of Genestealers. I think it was Manchu, hes quite the logical one... anyways, there are 4 basic levels of Genestealers to worry about, the first level is the purestrain, the most hideous beast, pure destruction, I have seen them rip apart our Adeptus Astartes protectors like they were children, Thank the Emperor we are not dealing with one of these, otherwise we would all already by dead. The second and third levels are both disgusting Hybrids of humans and Genestealers, they commonly have 3 arms, hunched backs, claws for hands, oversized heads, and purple-tinted skin.
the fourth level looks identical to a normal human.... only they are a sympathizer to the Genestealers, they have been infected and are no longer actually human, if they are allowed to breed and create offspring they would be of the 3rd level.

A quick glance tells me that we are dealing with 2 of these "4th level" Xenos.

More important, we have one who has presented us with nothing but riddles, to occupy our minds and trick us, and he has made reference to a great evil, that even our great protecters will not speak about openly. I know how to fight Genestealers, I am not afraid of killing them or being killed by them, I just do not want to become one of them, because of this I must vote to destroy that which has a connection to evil.

THE HORUS HERESY: Emprah: Hours, go reconquer the galaxy so there can be a new golden age. Horus: But I should be Emprah, bawwwwww! Emprah: Magnus, stop it with the sorcery. Magnus: But I know what's best, bawwwwww! Emprah: Horus, tell Russ to bring Magnus to me because I said so. Horus: Emprah wants you to kill Magnus because he said so. Russ: Fine. Emprah's always right. Plus Ole Red has already been denounced as a traitor and I never liked him anyway. Russ: You're about to die, cyclops! Magnus: O noes! Tzeentch, I choose you! Bawwwww! Russ: Ah well. Now to go kill Horus. Russ: Rowboat, how have you not been doing anything? Guilliman: . . . I've been writing a book. Russ: Sigh. Let's go. Guilliman: And I fought the Word Bearers! Horus: Oh shi--Spess Puppies a'comin? Abbadon: And the Ultramarines, sir. Horus: Who? Anyway, this looks bad. *enter Sanguinis* What are you doing here? Come to join me? Sanguinius: *throws self on Horus's power claws* Alas, I am undone! When you play Castlevania, remember me! *enter Emprah* Emprah: Horus! So my favorite son killed my favorite daughter! Horus: What about the Lion? Emprah: Never liked her. Horus: No one does. Now prepare to die! *mortally wounds Emprah*Emprah: Au contraire, you dick. *kills Horus* Dorn: Okay, now I just plug this into this and . . . okay, it works! Emprah? Hellooooo? Jonson: I did nothing! Guilliman: I did more nothing that you! Jonson: Nuh-uh. I was the most worthless! Guilliman: Have you read my book? Dorn: No one likes that book. Khan: C'mon guys. [query] more suspicious? you have taken an instant dislike to myself since the beginning of this unfortunate affair, I doubt it even possible you could become any more supicious.

[clarification] voting for oneself could simply be Oblitr8r trying to throw us off the scent, so to speak. I have remained stoic in my vote as he has held my suspicions, unlike several others who appear to be scatterbrainedly changing votes here & there in order to placate the logic of others.

[conclusion] my vote remains. You and I will never see eye to eye Gornall, so I see no point in trying to win you over. As for LoG, I do concur his behaviour is most peculiar, but I deduce him far too obvious to be the true culprit, at least at this moment of time.

[secondary point] Subject Gornall - if I was the enemy, surely it would benefit me most to vote for my obvious enemy, which is yourself. Not being the enemy, and in fact being your ally, I would not vote or rouse suspicion toward you.

*Looks sternly at Dark Lord Seanron*

We shall see. The earlier events of DarkO's brush with death lead me to believe he is not the true threat. As Stumpy iterated, it would have taken a truly devious (and daring) individual to have correctly deduced the number of people willing to vote for him and willingly place himself on the chopping block for as long as he did. While this alone does not prove his innocence, it does move him farther down towards the bottom of my list of suspects. I think there are more worrisome individuals to deal with first. LoG is one such individual and until a more likely culprit emerges, there is where my vote shall stand.

As for not voting for me, it neither proves guilt or innocence. You could be devious enough to realize that implicating me would only seek to bring attention upon yourself. On the other hand, you could implicate me and say "This would be too obvious if I was really a heretic".

Yes I dislike you, but my vote is based on your desire to protect LoG, not on your annoying, rusted existence. Personal conflict would only allow the Xenos to sow discontent and discord among us, making it harder to root them out. Because of our outspoken feud, I already fear for my safety tonight, as the genestealers could kill me to throw doubt on you, or leave me be to "exonerate" you and make me seem suspicious. This is a tangled mess of a web and we must be careful to observe every strand or risk becoming tangled up in it beyond all recovery.

However, I would not put it past a Xenos to eat his own limbs in lean times (and to gain sympathy), only to use his heretical, alien biology to sprout new ones when the time is appropriate.

I am not convinced. No, I am not convinced, as the rest of you seem to be, by this dubious self-sacrifice. If anything, it reminds me of the smarter, sicker scummers who'd play mind games with us Arbitors, wheedling at us for pity when Emperor knows they deserve none at all. No, I think you all should trust your instincts about this one. I know I will.

Vote: Drk_Oblitr8r

Lord of the Ghosts may very well be insane and even a heretic for all I know. His ravings are certainly damning enough, as you all clearly recognize. But I would remind you that none of us--and I realize this means even me--can be above suspicion in each other's eyes.

The fact that so many of you seem eager to absolve Drk_O of guilt in this matter astounds me and I refuse to let him off that easily. Whether it makes me unpopular with his sympathizers is immaterial to me, for I'll have done my duty to Him as I always have and always will.

Let me pose these questions: How many of us have sacrificed everything to be on this ship bound for Holy Terra? For how many of us is this the summation of all our lives' goals? And this one claims he got on by mistake? I must say again, I am not convinced.
