@ smurf: I like your suggested charities but think it probably should be the winning bidder's choice. I think it'll actually score more interest that way. Also, sorry for being rubbish and not sending Blink yet!

I've got another updare on my progress one of the two marines is finished (or at least mostly finished, still got a couple of touchups and higlights on the eyes to do). I tried to take a load of photos but sadly only one came out well.

Here's my take on a Rainbow Warrior:

Smurfwedge I won't send him your way just yet. You'll have to wait until I've painted the Star Dragon, speaking of my second marine would you prefer an urban or grassy base?

Hey Reaper
I will post some pics of the ones I received so far but just been hectic busy
Obviously the huge shot of the whole project will be done as well
So far I have received 4 but I know everyone is working hard to get these across and we still have plenty of time

Hey mate
Looking very good....must admit the rainbow warrior name filled me with trepidation but they turned out sweet

No problem about not sending him yet....sending them both at the same time makes more sense
As for the base that is totally up to you which one you would prefer mate

Will you accept a primarch instead of a regular marine ? If you give me until august I should be able to do one of them. I always wanted to build a primarch but I never knew what I would do with one when I was finished.

Alas, they were leftovers from my old-skool ways. I think that's the last one I had in the bitz box. It just seemed appropriate to use it for this guy.

It would be cool to have a Primarch but unfortunately the time limit will not allow us to go through to August
End of April is the deadline for all marines to reach me

If anyone is having trouble painting the DakkaDakka campaign badge I have made this hopefully simple to follow Tutorial

1. Paint a black circle.
2. Paint a yellow square in the centre.
3. Paint a straight black line down the centre of the square splitting it equally in half.
4. Paint a straight black horizontal line about 4/5th of the way up the two rectangles.
5. Paint the two little squares an orange colour.
6. Round off the edges of the two smaller squares then add two yellow lines at the bottom of the two rectangles to make it look more like a bullet.

Here is the finished product.
