GW pushes the line sometimes with their minatures, especially considering it's targeted at prepubescent boys but outright modelling of genitalia, male or female, is not something I'm comfortable with.

I don't think porn has a place on a gaming table, esepecially considering the number of young participants that frequent FLGSs. Again, my opinion. What you do in your home is your business, what you bring to a public venue affects everyone.

I would hardly consider these minis anything resembling porn. I'm stunned how bent out of shape people get of a penis or balls.

Just read through this whole thread and there's some amazing models in here. Warlock, 2 headed rat beast and the Minotaur standard bearer are my faves.

Tempting to start collecting a WFB army just to use a couple of these.

It looks like a Harryhausen monster frame. Which IMO gives it a certain retro chic that I kind of like.

The overall concept behind the hydra is great and believable, but aside from the claws and back plating, the whole model is really lacking in fine details.

Ugh, the paintjob on the Hydra is horrendous compared to the other Banemodels.

Sculptor and painter are the same as with the rat monster. The rat monster I have, it is more or less fine, but this Hydra I will pass.

I like the body structure, especially the heads. They look quite sinister and as realistic as a 5-headed reptilian monstrosity could look.

I wish the skin had a bit of texture though.

Yea, that hydra dose not look very good. The only miss in a collection of otherwise outstanding models though.
It looks like a stop motion dinosaur with undetailed skin covering much of it's body. It dose look more like a natural animal than most hydras, but it really isn't even close to believable. Reminds me of an eight year old reaper model that was slightly scaled up.
I do like the forked tongues and the spines on it's back. I'm trying to save up for the chimera myself, but it is pricy with the currency conversion to usd (sometimes anyway, seems it's in a state of heavy flux all the time these days)

Im afraid im in the negative camp for this one.
I think the sculpter has gone for a more Tortoise-like skin texture rather than "traditional" skales like on a Dragon or similar, i suppose if you are a master blender you could come up with some unique skin tones on this but its not for me.

That hydra's paintjob is lackluster and its looks craggy. Like a cheap rubber toy. No way i'm buying that.
