(Sure, I guess I can cover you, but seeing as I'm the cogboy and your the guardsman, it might be more sensical for our jobs to be swapped, or perhaps someone else cover both of us while we both work?)
(It seems we're both suited for mine placement, but neither of us can cover the other in a way that remotely resembles stealth, (flamers and Plasma pistols are SO Ninja) so yeah, i think we need someone with a silenced weapon to watch our back)

Not if its right next door, distant sounds could be ignored as someone else's problem, one right next door is much more personal and more likely to be investigated.

Zeta and Khan continued on, approaching Serenity's from the opposite direction. They made sure to stay well clear of it; half a dozen gangers outside alone. Yes, but Team Fallen is taking lengths to try and not blow their cover. You are in Crimson Jackal territory. They're going to investigate gunshots, and if a flamer/plasma/grenade launcher goes off you'll definitely give the game away. A grenade luancher is pretty low on the level of subtlety.
Character: Avare
Location: Sub-levels, just outside Serenity's
Situation: Rendevous with Khan and Zeta
Avare's earpiece cackled as she pulled her powersword out of the last living mutant, it's disfigured hand, or hoof, twitching in response. The interference was heavy down here, she only made out a few words. "Lady Avare...informant ...manservant...Yellow Dogs...Wagon's Weapons..." It sounded like Zeta had been sucessful, and was trying to organise a meeting point, or had that been a password? Avare cursed, aside from the stink, the dark, the gangers and the mutants this place was also about as receptive as an ork holding a metal pole. She tapped her combead twice as Team Regent proceeded down the dim-lit alley, Soric and Adiel still on point. Light, spinning coloured light, was showing up ahead. Clearly Serenity's was part hideout part nightclub.
"Zeta this is Avare! We are just around the corner from Serenity's, what is your position?"
Abruptly Team Regent found themselves in relatively bright lighting as they turned a corner. Avare had been pushing them forward too fast for proper recon, so Adiel and Soric were nearly as surprised as the half-dozen gang members that were slouching just outside Serenity's doors.
"Oi!" Their surprise was understandable, the sight of dark-armoured warriors in full carapace battledress pouring out of the shadows was likely a rare one. The ganger's cry of alarm was swiftly broken off as Soric, Rally and the Inquisitorial stormtroopers opened fire, cutting them down. Two managed to draw their weapons, crude autoguns by the looks of them, one was dropped with a round from Soric's hellgun to his head, another convulted as Baars and Rally hit him at the same time. The music, if that metallic grinding noise coming from Serenity's could be called music, was so incredibly loud Avare wasn't entirely sure if their attack had even been noticed inside. Still, they had to push the advantage now if the team of seven strong hoped to take on the whole of the Yellow Dogs.
"Adiel, Baars, ready frags when Ghast breaches. Sister Lucia...try not to get shot. Mast, throw in your frags after Adiel and Baars' detonate. Yes all of them. Ghast you lead, Proctor Jager and I will cover you." Avare quickly whipped out commands in short order, trying to hide the slight twitch in her hand as the anticipation grew greater as Team Regent took their positions. She liked this, already they were operating well as a crew.
"Uh, Interrogator?" Aajz pointed towards Serenity's, the awful music still as loud as ever. "There might be civillians in there. Not to mention the informant and the Assassin."
"Your concern is noted, Sister Lucia." Avare regarded the Hospitallier aloofly She understood, it was a pretty thing they were about to do, but it was their duty. "Zeta is smart enough not to get himself, or the informant, killed in the middle of a firefight. As for the civillians, like I said..." Avare's powersword crackled menacingly "...no witnesses.
(( OOC: I, er, um....krrrk looks like inteference Darkvoid.
Time to tear Serenity's apart looking for you.
Sorry Snarky if I was incorrect in thinking Aajz would have any worries over this. I figured the Hospitallier, whose job it is to preserve life, would be the one to object to it being spent this readily. If you don't think she would have had any problems then I'll change it. Now would also be a time to speak out from Scrazza or Reisen-Tanith about what we're about to do. Avare is intending to turn this mission up or notch or two on the GRIMDARK scale.))

'FURN! Cut that fething music NOW! We don't want any attention!' Slavro depressed the commbead and turned back to Wilson and Mikal. 'The both of you lay them, quickly, myself and Kelly will cover you. Save some for the front, maybe some in the lobby aswell. Hurry, we don't have alot of time' Kelly set himself up behind a pile of rubble opposite the hab complex. He lined his heavy stubber with the alley and the road they just came down. Slavro crouched by the ramp leading down into the car park, covering Kellys blind spots.
Flicker peered down his scope. There was alot of movement in the ruins that the Crimson Jackels apparently made their lair. A small patrol started walking towards the alley. 4 men, armed. They were dressed in tight fitting red coloured clothing. Their faces were covered with scarring, which Flicker could tell, were purposefully made. 'Contact, southern approach. 4 men, 2 by 2, armed, coming up alley,'
'Copy that' Slavro depressed his commbead. Feth he thought. 'You heard that, hurry this up. Kelly, do NOT let them cross that pile of rubble.'

When we get out of this, I can tell there's going to be some punishments meated out to certain members of the retinue.. unless certain details are.. how shall I say.. forgotten.. by certain members of the group.
The chances of that happening are very slim though. Astartes have good memory.

He was halfway done with the mines covering the southern approach, and was aware of how exposed he was to the approaching patrol.
Wilson ran the line across a gap between two low walls, then threw himself prone behind it as he heard voices drawing closer, he was out of time, slowly as to minimize noise he rolled onto his back and peeked up over his hiding spot, but the darkness was thwarting his vision, he had no idea how close or far away the patrol was. He lifted his flamer to the ready position across his lap.
"Gak, Sarge, how close are they? Requesting permission to go loud if they spot me, I'm up feth creek here."

Location: at the door of Serenity
Situation: getting ready to storm the building.
Soric ran, and let himself smash against the wall, his carapace armor catching the brunt of the force. He looked back for a moment. There were seven dead Yellow Dogs, and a few hundred meters back lay the twisted bodies of the mutants.
Soric waited as a another stormtrooper leaned against the wall, the opposite side of the door, then got an grenade out. His hellgun slung over his shoulder, he made a fist of his free hand, the sign to cook grenades. He pulled out the pin, counted to three, and threw his grenade in the interior of the smudgy bar. The stormtrooper next to him did the same, and they both got a step away from the door, covering their ears.

'Flick! we need a position on hostiles!' Feth! Slavro left Wilson waist deep in crud. Kelly wouldn't make it in time so support him, and will only have visual when they turn the corner, at which time, they will be right on top of Wilson.
'Granted, but not unless the spot you!, do you understand?!' whispered Slavro into his comm bead
'50 meters and closing'
Slavro needed to think fast. The rest of the team were preoccupied, Kelly would'nt get their in time. Slavro sprinted over to Wilson and threw him a his silenced bolt pistol. Slavro dove behind a column of rock. He risked a glance over the rock, 4 men, armed with stub guns. If they got even one shot off, everyone within a klom would hear it. They had to do this quick, and quiet.
'25 meters'
'Keep it quiet Wilson' whispered Slavro
'Their ontop of you!'
Wilson and Slavro lept from their cover. They were behind the patrol and caught them off guard. Slavro shot the first in the side of his head before he turned around. A thin mist of brain and skull fragments sprayed out behind him.....

The other two were starting to turn at the sudden fall of their friends and wilson reacted instantly. realizing he still had a tripwire in his hand he threw aside the unfamiliar pistol and formed a crude garrote with the wire, slipping it around the neck of the ganger on the right and twisting it tight so the man wouldn't make a sound while hoping like hell the sarge would bag the other one before he got a shot off while his Demolition expert chocked the life out of this one...

Character: Brother Ronan Team Fallen
Location: At the entrance tothe underground CarPark
Situation: Storming the underground carpark with Gaz and Furn
EDIT: THIS POST HAS BEEN EDITED
Ronan reached up to his earpiece, pressing the button and cycled through the settings so he could block out Furn's channel thereby muting the music for himself. " This is a warzone not a concert" he mused to himself as Furn booted the security door open, leveling her Grenade launcher and depressed the trigger making a low *Ploom* noise as she launched a smoke grenade. The smoke grenade tinkled into the middle of the carpark as it skidded across the ground, suddenly errupting smoke which would further help disorientate the beings inside.
" Move in!" he said sharply " Shoot only as a last resort!".
In unison all three ran into the darkness, the carpark still dimmly lit apart from the added light of the flares. Ronan bounded into the smoke, knife in hand as he saw one of the gangers behind a car. In a fluid motion he ran at the ganger, running over the cars bonnet up and over, his feet leaving huge depressions and sounds of crumpling metal as his enormous weight vaulted over the vehicle like it wasn't there. The ganger barely had chance to even move as the Astartes clothes lined him, sending him to the floor with a loud crack as the back of its head was splattered across floor.
Gaz took position on the left side of the carpark as he ran in, hoping to flank the nearest ganger to him while Ronan ran through the middle and Furn took the right side " Just typical of the Astartes" he thought with a smile as he slid against a wrecked car with his back to the enemy. He heard shuffling sounds coming from behind him, the ganger was obviously much closer than he first thought and was climbing over the car to get to him. Reaching out his arm he gripped the window frame and used it to haul himself up quickly, his other hand already swinging as he brought his knife down and sliced straight into the gangers head. He gurgled a scream as he was struck. Gaz, not convinced he was yet dead, wrenched his knife arm across, causing the ganger to slide across the roof and crumple to the floor where Gaz then leaned over the body and slit its throat.
Furn had found herself in a tricky situation, one leapt out at her from the shadows as she ran towards the one she could see. As the ganger made to grab at her with his knife she swung her grenade launcher full pelt and struck him in the gut causing him to stagger. Taking full advantage, she shoved him using the butt of her weapon to cause further injury as he howled in pain and spat up blood. She now had her back to the other ganger who was levelling his pistol at her, " I've still got time to take you both on ... come and get it!!!!" she yelled loudly through her gasmask, anger in her voice as she swung her weapon round and struck the ganger downward into its neck. His neck snapped as he was struck and fell down sideways. She turned, seeing the second ganger almost on top of her as she tried to ready herself for a second swing.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw Ronan galloping across the stretch of land to get to the last ganger. " Your not getting this kill!" she screached as the last ganger ran towards her but tripped on some rubble in the shadows. The ganger having lost his footing fell against Furn, causing Furn to fall to the ground while the ganger landed on top of her. As his pistol arm hit the ground a single shot went off and all the team could do was hope it hadn't been heard. Despite the weight of the ganger she managed to roll herself on to her back, her reflexes were far quicker than his as she grabbed him and rolled again, knocking the pistol from his hand. As she managed to get on top of him she started belting his face with blow after blow from her fists.
She felt a hand grip her shoulder, she whipped her head round, fists ready to punch the owner of the hand, only stopping when she recognised the form of the Astartes " I think he's dead, Furn" he spoke calmly, understanding her reaction and thinking nothing of it. Furn turned back to look at the ganger under her, blood trickling over the floor after the barrage of punches he had received. She chuckled and stood up, checking her mask was still firmly in place and dusted herself off as Gaz joined the other two.
" The area seems clear Brother Ronan", Gaz spoke, his attention on Ronan.
Ronan reached up and kept his finger held against the comms unit in his ear. " Slavro ... Brother Ronan checking in ... underground secure. The maingates controls are damaged and cannot be used, also the gates themselves are buckled and won't easily be closed manually. Inside there appears to be a stairwell behind a set of doors that lead up into the main part of the building, from here they look damaged but could be climbed by an enemy". He paused for a moment, letting the information sink in. " We could proberly close the gates if needed, though with them already being buckled I imagine closing them or re-opening them after would attract attention from the noise. I will inspect the stairwell more closely ... Ronan out"
" Furn, Gaz, keep an eye on that gate entrance while I inspect the stairwell" Ronan said as he walked towards the double doors.

Subject: Mikal
Location: In front of building.
Status: Securing area and placing defensive measures.
Mikal was busy placing his part of the mines in front of the building as Slavro had requested, relying on the guardsmen to do their job and cover him, when he picked up several rather jarring notes on the squads vox frequency. Mikal just smiled and shook his head, Guardsmen and their traditions were strange to him, and he didn't mind them but he was sure someone would dislike the distraction. Mikal simply filtered out the noise and went on setting up the ordnance with his usual efficiency.
He detected several munitions going off below him and immediately recognized the sound of a grenade launcher, had to have been that of Furn, he could tell by the slight variations in frequency that the weapon was not in the best condition. He was concerned about the noise, however, as he realized the two humans in the floor above them were alerted and began investigating.
"Brother Ronan, one of the humans from the floor above you is headed down the stairs, he has been alerted by the weapons fire, the other is now crossing to the front side of the building, all Fallen units be advised." He said into his vox, he was sure that the Astartes and the covering guardsmen had the gangers covered and finished setting a tripwire when Slavro and Wilson were alerted to approaching hostiles that Mikal had not seen. They were the first to react but Mikal was already moving towards the position. By the time he had gotten there, two were already in the process of being taken out, the third, in front of an occupied Wilson was about to shout and raised his weapon but was, quite literally, cut off from behind.
The body of the ganger fell into two parts and created a spreading pool of blood, revealing Mikal who was wielding the power axe and inspecting the blood as if it were a stain.
"I am not accustomed to such acts." The techpriest said almost remorsefully. "Tell me, was that appropriately quiet?"

( OOC: :(.
Also, I apologise now for any inconsistencies with my next post-I've been away for the lastthree days and an ill-advised late night viewing of Terminator: Judgement day last night has left me exhausted. I've tried to follow the story as best as possible, but it's entirely possible and indeed very likely I've missed something.)
Character: Brother Aygapus (Team Fallen)
Location: Side of building, 8th street.
Situation: Climbing a fire exit.
Aygapus climbed without a sound, hugging the side of the building for all he was worth. When infiltrating a ganger stronghold (who often had good eyesight anyway, living down in the dark), even regular humans had trouble. For an Astartes it was damn well impossible. Still, he ascended the building without alerting suspicion-though with Furn and her bloody music (which had caught the Marine off guard and caused him to swear with a surprising amount of creativity), he supposed that stealth wouldn’t be an option for too long. The song had amused him however-he remembered something similar from his distant childhood. That was a different era now. In many ways, he WAS the hero now.
“Slavro, this is Red Bull. I’m in position. Two visible tangos in building. Moving to terminate. Over.” Aygapus took his hand of the comm-bead as he observed his prey. Two men facing away from the window he infiltrated through, crimson jumpsuits, looking about middle age for a mortal. This was almost too easy. Unsheathing his knife, Aygapus slowly lowered himself through the window, taking care to maintain the silence. Keeping his leg muscles tensed, Aygapus crept behind them (no easy feat for an Astartes) and raised himself to loom over them slightly. Before they had a chance to register his presence, he grabbed their heads and slammed them into each other with frightening force. There was a sickening crunch as skull met skull and was turned into fine bone-white powder. Catching the two bodies as they fell, Aygapus lowered them to the ground slowly without a sound. Moving into a crouch and stacking up behind the open doorway, Aygapus noticed something on the body of one of the gangers. Moving over to it, curious despite himself, Aygapus picked up the small tape and read what was inscribed upon it. Grinning, he tucked it into his suit’s belt.
“Tangos down. Getting ready for clear out. From what I can see there are a few of them. This may end up going loud.” He paused for a moment. “Oh, and tell Furn I’ve got a present for her”.
( OOC part the second: You'll notice that Aygapus refers to himself as 'Red Bull' during this post when talking to Slavro-this is his codename, a habit he has adopted from his history of strategic command. As he is likely to be prone to doing this in live-fire situations, what would everyone in team Fallen-and Regent, for that matter-like their names to be? Obviously people like Mikal and Ronan will still be Techpriest, Brother etcetera.)

Character: Brother Ronan Team Fallen
Location: Inside underground CarPark with Furn and Gaz
Situation: Quite annoyed
Ronan was instantly enraged as she spoke the words, showing such disrepect for an Astartes would not be tolerated as he turned around and march towards Furn and Gaz who were taking position near the front gate. Reaching around her front from behind he gripped her by the throat and lifted her up to her feet, turning her to face her as he did.
" Heed my words well petulant child" he snarled. " You may have good relations with the Astartes of your homeworld but you do not with mine and your Insolence will not be tolerated" His tarade was cut short as the comms unit crackled to life.
" Brother Ronan, one of the humans from the floor above you is headed down the stairs, he has been alerted by the weapons fire, the other is now crossing to the front side of the building, all Fallen units be advised." The voice of Mikal said.
Ronan tilted his said back to Furn, letting her back down to the ground " A ganger is on his way to the stairs and one to the maingate, you two mark the gate, I will intercept the other at the stairs. And Furn ... if I need to remind you again to watch your tone I will remind you with a bolt to the head" He turned on the spot and headed to the stairs again, he had hopes that whatever Furn knew about Space Marines she would at least know that Marines do not make idle threats.
(( ooc, I've left the maingate encounter for either Furn or Gaz to write while I'll do one for the stairs seperately after a few others have posted so as not to get too far ahead. Also Dragonjaj, don't take the post personally, I'm in character doing what a normal intolerant Astartes would do ))

OOC: Three double-handed weapons? Overly excessive; you'll be heavily weighed down and constantly be juggling them in combat. Two two-handed weapons and a pistol and knife are usually the maximum. Hell, you should never need more than that anyway.

(( OOC the lance is a mounted weapon she probably not use at all but she grabbed it cause you never know (possible use high speed chase in vehicles like jousting in a car show.) the lass gun was simply mater of function and the fact if she only used the launcher shed collapse the building and its less weight then a hell pistol with its heavy pack. So i chose that and las guns have bayonets.))

Character: Gaz
Location: CarPark
Situation: Holding gate
Gaz pulled the large sniper rifle off of his back, pulled the bi-pod out and went into a prone position, aiming down the scope he watched the gate. Gaz saw the first ganger he had a pistol, then the second rounded the corner this one had a large assault rifle. Gaz took aim, held his breath and shot, the second ganger's head exploded sending bits of skull blood and brain every where. The first span round to see what had happened but lost his balance and fell, Gaz shot him twice through the chest.
"nice shots, but you could have let me have one." Furn said as she turned to Gaz
Gaz couldn't tell if she was joking or not so he just gave a short laugh. He didn't like Furn so was to cocky for Gaz' liking and she had some strange habits that annoyed him and probably more than a few others.

Character: Furn: Team Fallen
Location: CarPark
Situation: Holding gate
Furn watched she hit a button on her goggles as she looked around "OH good there's more coming. Switch to your thermal sights." her tone was almost a laugh
In thermal there where dozens of heat sources among the clutter and junk in the streets past the gate and what looks like a vehicle rolling in. but there was gun flashes it looks like there where 2 gangs fighting out side the car park. "Um guys i think we might have bad timing there's a shoot out between gangs in front of the car park. That might explain why there's so many gangers in the car park its self." she said in the vox sound increasingly chipper "Oh and one side has a tactical."
(tactical's are civilian vehicles converted to for combat example: a pickup truck with a mg on a mount a metal plats welded on as makeshift armor.)
