True, but much could change when(if) a new chaos codex comes out. It could be a long wait though. It wouldn't stop me from buying it, cause you could always use it for appocolypse games.

I assume Miss Dee's comment is in reference to the Black Library releasing an audiobook on the Sisters of Silence for April Fool's Day.
The joke being that the Sisters of Silence, once they are fully initiated...take vows of silence and never speak again. They use hand signals during combat and the like.

I am surprised no one has really spoke of what Mark Bedford & Will Hayes had said in regards to a Adeptus Mechanicus army in the works. Towards the end of some question and answer tome, someone (jokingly?) questioned about Custodes models, one of them replied "It's on the drawing table." 2014 perhaps? Hm.

Well, C-130's tend to have more space in them than any APC, so it would make sense.

Also, the Stormeagle has less armor and costs more. two TL'd Lascannons are 60 points. The bonus is that it is Fast, and so can fire weapons while moving at cruising speed.

It would have to be Pre-Heresy/Heresy Era then though, wouldn't it?

Adeptus Custodes are still around and rarely but occasionally go off world, so no it wouldn't have to be Heresy or Preheresy era.

Wouldn't have to be in a book or anything, they could just produce some models for the sake of production.

Not questioning you but all info I've ever read states that the custodes haven't been offworld and have eschewed the use of their armor since the emperor was intered. If I'm wrong I'd apreciate hearing your source.

In the RT era fluff after the Emperor was interred into the Golden Throne, the Adeptus Custodes would go off world to investigate reports of believed manifestations of the Emperor since they're the only ones really qualified to identify him. I also veguely remember them being involved with the incidents surrounding the Star Child and Sensei... all that fluff about a reincarnated Emperor and his possible children.

I pretty sure current fluff has them never leaving earth/the Emperor's side since his installation into the Golden Throne, hence my Pre-Heresy/Heresy era guess.

Of course, they could just be cool models for cool models sake, but where's the fun in that?
