Kroot's post has just reminded me, during the first Q&A session Tony Cottrell did say that he would really appreciate people giving them positive feedback; if they get something wrong it's not a problem because the inbox fills up, but it's very difficult for them to know when they got something right, as no-one tells them!

So if you really like any of the rules, models or anything then please drop them an e-mail and they'll keep doing it right.

Also, with regards to the Mk VIII armour, he did say that would be kind of stepping into the future from the 40k perspective, although he and Alan then seemed to have a bit of a murmur about Minotaurs. The main upshot, as far as I understood it anyway, was that they prefer to do models that fit into a larger story, rather than just gap fillers.

Isn't stated in the badab war background section that the Minotaur’s chapter is one of the best equipped? Making heavy use of mark 8 armour.

So if they’re going to be forge worlds new poster chapter, ill guess we will see aset out with the next IA book

As was stated before, I'm disappointed at the sheer volume of Loyalist Marine-only stuff that was shown this year; the Stormeagle's already been shown to be loyalist-only (not VERY surprised, but disappointed that my conversion will be relegated to Apoc-only), and I fear the Deimos will be loyalist-only (will be VERY sad if that happens!). The Avenger...obviously Loyalist-only so regular 40k skimmer rules would be irrelevant to me.

I cannot imagine them actually selling that or the Khorne Flake.

To be fair, not all countries sell Bran Flakes, so this pun may be UK only. Never seen or heard of Bran Flakes in Germany, although theoretically they seem to exist here. So internationally, Khorne Flakes is the better pun.

The K'Daii Fireborn models are a real disappointment. Combined with subpar rules and overcosting, I can't see them ever being used, too bad they didn't translate well at all from concept art (which was awesome) to model (which is not awesome).

Here's to hoping that Magma Dragons and the K'Daii Destroyer end up much better!

All they need to do now is miniaturize that Gargantuan Squig and we'll finally have some decent Mangler Squig models (like Warhammer: Age of Reckoning) instead of those abysmal $90 a base models which stick out like a sore thumb.

Looking forward to Blackfire Pass, though I am surprised at the O&G focus given they now have a whopping 2 models in the range (after they release the squig that is).

The K'daii rules aren't bad just niche, but those models are real disappointment; they don't really look like their fluff description or their concept art. Ogre sized samurai on fire are what these are supposed to be like... they're a column of fire with a meh-armor.

They've also changed the concept art for the Destroyer... we've gone from a molten rock and metal bull to to something that looks like a croutching minotaur with armored mask and armor-peg-leg-spike arms.

The Bull Centaur's concept art is a different as well... for one of the most armored unit suddenly they're less armored... oh and on fire... someone should remind FW Bull centaur don't have the immunity to fire the Fireborn have.

I think the Fireborn really need to be shown as painted models, as they have a bit too much detail going on it seems.

Yeah, I just can't tell I'd it is organic looking, flames, trees, or what. I can get a sense of how it supposed to be painted, but my imagination isn't cooperating.

The K'dai look good in person, those photos don't do them justice. I normally despise sculpted flame, but they are challenging that attitude for me. What I can't wait for is the Magma dragon, after seeing the concept I reakon it will be the first FW Dragon that I buy.

Necrons? Yes. I really want the Crypt Stalker (from http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=409729) to be the new Titan-sized model. If not in stats and abilities, than in looks. Because it is awesome.

To me their flames don't look right. They're supposed to be fire daemons trapped in armor... It looks more like a lot of little fires burning across a surface when you'd imagine a creature of fire would present more of a centralized source for the fire... and you'd imagine more flames coming up along the edge of the armor than abruptly stopping.
