Already been listed in some other threads, sorry!

There's already a thread on this. In fact, there're two threads, if I'm not mistaken.

Take a second to check the forums before posting a new repetative topic.

Meh people get too uptight about redundant threads. Not everyone reads every thread on the board, it happens, we close the reduant one, life goes on.

I'd rather have redundant threads than people stop posting cause they're afriad of getting yelled at.

It takes 5 seconds and only your eye muscles to skim a page of topics. That's not asking for much effort in keeping things tidy.

Guess we'll agree to disagree.

I didn't see a topic on the first page that says new Chimera and Basilisk in march. You have to go three pages in to the Upcoming: Battle Missions to find it. I agree with Kid_Kyoto, people get way too uptight about this kind of thing.

Yeah- Nothing on the front page about chimeras and bassies- so sadly I had better things to do than read EVERY thread to check if i'd been mentioned anywhere- turns out it had... in a thread I had read several days ago about the battle missions suppliment- after i'd read it of course

at the end of the day- some people would have missed it- sorry you didn't

wow, a bit defensive aren't you? it's general forum courtesy to not post redundant info, much like not typing in all caps. after 2000+ posts, you'd think you would have a bit thicker skin. as for reading "EVERY thread to check", you could simply use the search function. i just did and in 5 seconds i noticed that 90% of the first page of results are from the last week talking about the new basi and chimera cuts. personally, i don't care if you post redundant info; just don't make it seem like you'd have to go out of your way to check if it is and then be rude when people call you out for it.

actually I'd say I should be defensive- as at the end of the day there wasn't a clear topic about the release of the bassie and chimera- and people have complained that its "no effort to check" for something that wasn't there-

as KK said:

Guess what- People are being uptight about it and it makes me question the effort to post things that people might want to know-

Now I think this thread has gone OT enough-

Bassie and Chimera (and Fellbeast and battle missions etc...) in March- end of discussion it seems then

Guys - seriously - take it easy.

The thread where we're talking about Chimera and Basilisk models?

Its called "Incoming: Battle Missions".

NOT exactly the most obvious place to look for that particular bit of information.

The 'offense' in this case? NOT really that egregious, is it?

THIS thread is specific enough, so really, it isn't THAT big a deal.

This isn't 'that' other forum, OK?

What else is coming out? Aren't there supposed to be releases for "many" of the 40k races with Battle Missions?

I find the idea of a chimera that fits together offensive!

Course this thread's title doesn't say that either.

I agree, these kids today are getting fat and lazy with their kits that fit and have all the bitz they need!

Whatever happened to putting in an order to the UK for extra bitz and hoping they would fit so you could make a vehicle in the codex!

True, but at least it's got more leading info than the other one did in it's title.

As to the other releases, I'll be surprised if it isn't the last remaining Space Marine HQ to get a model, the Master of the Forge. Orks I don't know enough of what they need to speculate.

GW obviously feels they can make more shilling them for 15 bucks on the online store.

HOLY CRAP!!!! I thought you might have been exagerating the price of the accessory sprue but...... WOW!!! It is damn near half the price of the tank! Reall? One bloody piece of plastic? Really? For that price it should come pre-painted and when you open the box it pops out and fondles your Johnson. That seriously pisses me off.

You have your own pet Johnson??

It must be nice to have a little imp-like Jervis hanging around on game nights complaining about the evils of trying to win games and then getting beaten about the head!

While you sleep, they'll be waiting...

Have you thought about the Axis of Evil pension scheme?

GW prices mean I never have to exaggerate. It's unfortunate too, as all I want are of the gunner/officer bodies, and track guards from them. I liked the very simple uniform and thought it would be good for a Psyker Battle Squad Conversion (my psykers are "prisoners"). At least you can still find bits on Ebay and in current boxes, up til March. Makes me glad I ordered 3 of my Chimera's now.

Thanks Yak- forgot I could change the subject

As soon as I have more specifics I'll let people know about what else is coming-

I have heard rumours (take with a HUGE pinch of salt) Plastic SM termie captain, Master of Forge, Ork special characters and Finally new ork plastic vehicles (buggy/trakk etc)

I don't know what I'd rather see - an Ork Trukk/Buggy/Skorcha kit, or plastic Kanz/Dread.

On one hand, they need that part of the range filled. The lack of model kit is just shocking as I really thought GW was passed the whole 'never release a kit for a Codex entry' (then again that idea kind've died when they went to wave releases...), and on the other hand, the current Kan and Dread models might look great but they're horrible evil things to put together, and plastic versions would be a significant improvement.

Fine then - no Deff Kopta outside of the starter kit.

That's poor.

Hmm... 2 sprues is $30. I think that's enough for weekday cover and a lap dance at a gentleman's club.

Well, I for one find this thread helpful. I've been wondering when the recut Chimera would be out, since I'm building a traitor Guard army right now.

March is not soon enough. Looks like I will be gluing lots of crappy little wheels and sawing down overly wide side armor on the old models.
