Who would win in a battle Eldrad or The Deceiver FLUFF wise???
Because Eldrad can see the future and prepares everything to make sure he doesnt get killed and other things happen to the enemy.
But The Deceiver also works out things and has a lot more influence on how people would act like he can probably bring a whole fleet of I.G. somewhere while Eldrad can only get Eldars to follow him.
So who would win in the battle and say they both have 10 years to plan and set things up to happen for the battle.

The Deceiver.

He's a freaking demi-god. Game over Eldrad.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

The Deciever would definitely win. Eldrad wouldn't get much support since the Eldar race has become an endangered species in the 40k world. The Deciever would only need to get all the Necrons he could find, which would be a lot of Necrons, and finish off the Eldar race. Even though Eldrad can see into the future doesn't mean he can prepare for it all of the time.

In cc, the Deceiver will instantly kill Eldrad who will have no save whatsoever.

If I remember correctly (too lazy to look into the 'dexes)
both models have the same initiative.
However, Eldrad could boost its initiative if he fields a Warlock retinue with enhance.
If so the C'tan will eventually die from the Warlock attacks
but will eventually slay Eldrad.

And yet somehow, he is still a playable character. His will must be stronger then the Emperors then

he might not be dead, he could always take over a black stone fortress from the inside and then shoot the deceiver with a warp weapon and giggle a little bit as the deceiver dies

The Deceiver tricked Abbadon into starting the Gothic War to destroy the Blackstone Fortresses, aka The Talismans of Vaul. It was in this war that Eldrad died, so I'd say they've pretty much already have their defacto battle and the Deceiver won.

I agree with this assesment. Anyways just strait up stat line im going with Deciever unless Eldrad has EW one hit and POOF gone.

1.Eldrad is assumed dead though there is an argument for his survival as explained in the Eldar Codex
2.So long as there is enough living metal the deciever cannot die
3.The Deciever has thousands of immortal soldiers while the eldar are almost dead
4.Eldrad's only hope of kpwning the Deciever for ever is to kill every single eldar so Ynnead comes, kills slaneesh, kill the night bringer, kills the void dragon, kills the deciever and kill the Outsider.
CONCLUSION: Eldard is dead

Eldrad would forsee that he would get ripped to shreds and he would NOT get into that fight... he would not knowinly throw his life away if there is no GREAT reason for it... so there would be no fight

Or he could well have seen that no matter what he did, he couldn't avoid dying. And so picked the one that would do the most good in the process.

Regarding death.

1) If you look into the fluff hard enough you can see they have left a way open for Eldrad to return one day.

2) If you made a model, stats, and points of a primarch, i'd have no issue kil... playing it either.

Eldrad is the greatest Farseer of the Eldar. He would manipulate the Imperium to do his fighting for him.

Eldrad FTW.

Eldrad can still make a mistake. Last time I checked he ran into a building filled with deamons and is now assumed dead.

Eldrad can only see some of the future, but then, so can I. Reckon the sun will rise tomorrow (you heard it here first guys). Surely the fluff is there to support things that you can't do in a game. Now if only there was a game system that would let us settle arguments like this...
