Hello all,

I'm Momo, I've discovered this web community through googling: "awesome people who playes Warhammer 40k Dakka Dakka".

Something nice has arrived at my mail box from the UK...

I'm going forward with my plan on building a bio-hazard themed Imperial Guard army - Adepta Bionarium Task Force
The plan is to have all my troopers have their weapons upgraded with rifle scopes, laser-modules, shin-pads and some sort of backpack with a radio.

First two troopers built:

A communication trooper with night-vision / bio-vision goggles.

Sergeant number one:

Note: I remodelled the miniature so that instead of holding a silly las-pistol and a chainsaw the officer now holds a SMG with extra mags and an assault baton.

Sergeant number two:

In this one you can clearly see the baton in action

Company Commander:

Yep, I used a resistor.

Magnetised weapons for the sentinel:

Sentry heavy weapons (Inspired by modern warfare 2):

Things built so far~

Automatically Appended Next Post:
First two troopers painted:

Painted Company Commander:

Painted Sentry Hv.Bolter:

Medic:

Painted Sentinel:

Sniper: (I didn't like the sniper rifle supplied in the sprue as there is this annoying camo cloak that I have to cut off - so I made a convertion out of a standard lasgun)

Grenade:

Here's another example why plastic kits are so awesome - scratch built Master of Ordnance:

Painted Company Command Squad:

Painted Master of Ordnance:

Painted Sniper:

Painted Medic:

Painted Sergeant:

Some extras - half-painted Grey Knights:

There are no words to describe how much I love your medic. And the fact that you used the capacitor made me grin. : )

a resistor for as defibrillator is genIus! love your work so far!
a bit of advice. the Sgt can't take lasguns now, only laspistols. i have quite a few i'm suppose to redo, but keep putting off. personally if you can get away with it i say go for it!

Excellent job so far. You can see the care each figure gets. The army is lucky to have a patient creator such as yourself. I would like to see more of your walkers. I am curious are you going for a clean look or perhaps a battle worn set up?

"Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope. Statement: This definition, I am told, is subject to interpretation. Obviously, love is a matter of odds. Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and fewer would derive love from it. Yet for me, love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticle, and together, achieving a singular purpose, against statistically long odds." ~ HK-47

Wow, it was definately worth going home to see these

Some excellent conversions. And as an added bonus to me, I use the same pig iron heads for my IG

Great work - can't wait to see more.

Lol, yea... It's been a long way since that video. (I was young...now 18)

Anyway, more updates: (took these pictures a while ago)
The Leman Russ, it has two magnetised options (Vanquisher Cannon or Demolisher cannon):

Instead of having a guy mounting the 50 cal. it's automated as the theme of my guard army includes "super high tech" or something closer to the modern era.

SitRep:
Company Command Squad: Completed
Grey Knights (bodyguards proxy): Completed

Liking the stubber on your Demolisher/Vanquisher. I hve something similar planned for mine; also loving your use of a resistor for the medic.
