Subject: Our Codex is da biggest an da best! - Orks 10th Edition Tactics
New Nob wise, it looks okay, but nothing standout. Not happy with all the tactical rock standing since it feels a bit overdone like what they've did for marines, but it looks like they're really pushing kombiweapons so hopefully they have a more relevant profile than what they have right now.
Also, rumours are suggesting Nazdreg is coming back, so we're getting more Klan representation alongside Wazdakka for Evil Sunz and Bad Moonz, which is nice.

I also completely fail to understand why we got new boyz for 10th edition just for them to make entirely new boyz again for 11th edition.
Sure sales were bad but that wasnt a sculpt thing, that was because there were only 10 dudes in the box and one was forced to be a nob, and you were forced to have shootas on some of them and choppas on others.
Dear lord i have so many boss nobz i need to remodel because of the kombi shoota and lack of powerklaw, unless the powerklaw/big choppa option is still a thing.
Hope, is the first step on the road to disappointment.

I imagine that the boys refresh was at least partly as a result of how poorly the last one was received, for reasons you explained. Otherwise I'd say it's a similar situation to the AOBR boys where it's new sculpts designed to be push fit for the starter box.
The nob probably will have PK/Big Choppa as options, this is likely just it being the pre-built army for the starter box. Give it a little bit post-11th and we'll get the boys box with the options in it, or just add a PK to the new guy.

I no wonder if it might offer protectiness to nearby units?
Looks little bit like a huge turtle to me. Another squighog type of the unit?

I still think the "new boyz" were just meant as an ETB for something that never materialized, not as a.full kit to replace the standard troops Box of a horde faction.

You should watch it in action, it looks nothing like a turtle or squig. More like a chicken.

New rumors on this:
Spoiler:
Take with grain of salt, rumor credibility is "unknow person on the internet said this".
If true, it sounds interesting. Something universal like wartribe or tactics could be 3 points, dreadmob or kult of speed could be 2 points and a detachment focused on flash gits or kommadoz could be 1 point.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong: Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other. A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot. Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests. Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books. Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor. Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers. Orks do not have the power of believe.
