I am not sure on the size here. I was gunning for Killa Kans.

Hmmm... Looks more like Dread size to me, considering that the guy next to him looks like a Nob.

Killa Kans should be a little shorter than that, and have a smaller "footprint" on the board. Consider that they're supposed to be put on the same bases Terminators use, and use that as your guideline.

Yes,it's definitly more "Dread sized",pretty nice scratch build though.
As a rule of thumb you should use GW paint pots for determining appropriate killa kan body size,or even make you killa kanz out of old GW paint pots.

OK, so I guess I need to make this this more shooty and then try again for the Kans.

Just FYI, both killa kans that I bought came with the 60mm base, not the 40mm base. Oddly, the deff dread had no base with it.

I would say killa kan , because its missing arms if its deff dread

I went and bought some bases just to check.

He fits on the big 60mm just fine.
He hangs off the sides of the 40mm.

so I am not sure myself but I am thinking I will just let him be a Deaf Dread and juice him up some and then just start over with the cans and give them a smaller footprint.

I have 5 of the 40mm bases and I will just make sure that they fit on them.

Actually, I've been meaning to ask someone about this. Deff dreads don't ship with a base. They stand evenly on the table though - I'm presuming that if GW wanted them on a base then they would have shipped them with the dread, right?

OK, so I went back to the drawing board and came up with this after getting the bases for them.

If the scale is right this is about as good as its gonna get. Gonna keep them simple. Make 2 more and call it a day. Then I will turn the first attempt into a deff dread.

Yes,much more in scale with "kan size",looks pretty good too.

I actually tore the first one apart and I am redoing it so it has legs more like the Kans. I will probably post pics in a new thread when I get it all worked out now that I know the sizes to make them. Funny thing is I have got to watch myself and not make the Dread too big.
