Am I going blind or have GW got rid of the roster sheets they used to have on their website?
Don't normally use them but my 10 year old got his first 40k army for xmas and I thought it would be easier for him to have the proper rosta's for his army.

I'd like to know about this too, I have noticed the fancy army lists people bring to tournaments and I want one!

Yeah, they've got a pretty good new one that you can actually type into as a .PDF file:

yeah,
Lone Wolf Development
it costs $39.99 and it's worth it. list building has never been so easy!
you also have to renew your licence each year costing $12.50 to recieve updates (new codexs).
It's only downside is that new codexs take a couple of months to get included.
Pick your troops in the program.
Print your nice list.

Cool, thanks. I had googled it, but wanted to make sure that this was a reputable place to be buying stuff from!
Thanks!

That one seems a bit pricey...is there one out there that's free? I mean, much as I would love to have it, I can easily just use a real codex plus the .pdf from Pit of the Oni.

You pay for the functionality and the development of the program. Once you use Army Builder, you'll never want to make lists any other way. If you want something free, expect to do more work. Excel works well as does the Pit of the Oni link mentioned above.
