So i'm just about to splurge on a mars pattern warhound and would like some opinions on what weapons loadout i should go for? i'm thinking turbolaser and inferno cannon but wanted some other opinions based on how well each combo works in game.

Turbo laser is hands down, no contest, bar none the best weapon on the Warhound. However, using two of them will get you labled as a beardy bastard. A close second would be the plasma blastgun, which is a great, flexible horde killer. One turbo and one plasma is cannonically the armament of a mars pattern, so is bouth fluffy and crunchy.
The amount of nerd-slang in that paragraph scares me.

I always thought that the plasma blast gun was for Imperator titan.Nevertheless chose multilazor.

Nah, that's the Plasma ANNIHILATOR(!) it annihilates, whereas the warhound's only blasts. The warlord has the plasma destructor. Which destroys.

My issue with the magnets was finding magnets strong enough.

+1 to this reply.
If you just want to win, 2x TurboLasers.
If you want to win but have some friends 1x TL 1x PBG
If you want to have fun laying down huge pie plates 2x PBG

Strength shouldn't be an issue because they're plastic kits. You only put magnets on the 'body' of the model and glue\attach metal bits to the interchangable parts. This keeps the weight down.

They are resin, but finding magnets big and strong enough is a bit of a problem. Automatically Appended Next Post: Just bought it, went with the laser/blastgun option with the intent to magnetize.

Oh god no. They're resin, as previously mentioned, and they're heavy as hell. Lighter than metal, but still really heavy. You'll need a really strong magnet to hold this stuff. Rare earth makes a good variety of magnets, but I'm not sure I'd trust even them to hold something as heavy, fragile, and expensive as a titan's weapon.

Rare earth magnets work perfectly fine for making warhound weapons swappable. You just need to use enough of them. Stacking magnets gives them an overall greater strength, so I drilled two holes into the ball, and two into the guns, putting two magnets into each hole. With a total of eight magnets keeping everything in place, there's no chance of anything going anywhere. When I have a chance, I'll check what size magnets they were.

PBG aren't the best thing for going after Titans. In that regard nothing beats the Turbolaser besides the Laser Blaster.
Where PBG shine is spanking infantry and Eternal Warrior MCs. Nothing will get an armor save since its AP2 and S8+ is wounding almost everything on 2's.
This means the main choice is whether or not to fire the 1x10" or 2x7" pie plates. What I go by is if the board is covered in models, fire the 10" shot because it has the same surface area as 2x7" shots.
If you want to target a smaller concentration of units OR the unit are buried in cover, hit them twice with the 2x7" blasts to double up your wounds.
For armor, if its AV12 or less, use the double blast (remember you reroll penetration because its a primary weapon). If its AV13 or more, a single blast is better.

This is actually the first step in what i hopw will become a very manic (and long running) project to make a small part of a legion, the long term plan is 4 warhounds, 2-3 reavers and a warlord (you know forgeworld will make it sooner or later). For the first one i've got plasma and turbo but I will also be getting a second turbo, a inferno gun and a VMB later if i can get the arms magnetized. Automatically Appended Next Post: So lets move this discussion to the next phase, i heed a colour scheme and legion, I was thinking invicta (red and gold) but cannot find pics of it anywhere, everyone does tempestus (blue and yellow), so while it looks cool its not too original, aside from these i'm at a loss, so, ideas please (and if y'all have images to accompany them so much the better)

For magnet info, each weapon is secured with eight of the D6 x 2mm Disc - Grade N38 disc magnets.

Lovely. I would go with the Plasma/laser combo. if you are magnetizing them maybe think about the Vulcan or Inferno for mass horde rapage.

you're planning a legion.......... SUBSCRIBED!!!!
I'd love to see fw do a warlord, wouldn't like to think about the price though! For colour scheme how about something naval, or a green and dirty steel colour? Have seen some good blue and green schemes before, but many many blue and green that look awful!!!!!!
ps - selfish plug - I'm working on a super cheap warlord - see thread in my sig.
Can't wait to see your's take shape though. hope you get those bits sorted! I know how frustrating FW models can be sometimes when they come with miscasts. Grrrrr FW!!!!!

The legion thing will get its own P&M blog later on when it starts to take shape, for now i have to wait for forgeworld to replace my damn bits, grr (it was like both parts of the main body and both hip joints, the upper carapace plus some little odds and sods that needed replacing).
On the magnetizing front i'm not sure i'm going to bother now as forgeworld no longer supply rubberized cabling with thier titans, instead its resin and you need to heat treat it to bend it to shape and i'm not sure that a bend configuration that will work for one weapon will fit another, we'll see.

For the weapons, I'd go for either Dual Turbo-Lasers or 1 Turbo Laser and a Plasma Blastgun

You shouldn't worry about the cables: they're very hard to shape and hard to spot when they're actually on there.
