Simple Question. Do Gork and Mork have lesser deamon followers in the warp like the 4 Chaos Gods do? I would think a Greater Deamon of Gork or Mork would be pretty cool.

I think that Gork & Mork have no use for daemons.... when you have Orks and souls of Ork why waste energy on deamons ?

I've bought my last models from GW on October 10th, 2011. Since then I've bought none, I am against their price policy. Screw them.

I don't think they have any daemons themselves...waaagh energy is pretty powerful

there IS however a pic in the daemonhunters codex with Nurgle Orks, and they look kinda demonic. So orks do sometimes follow chaos I guess, but chaos dosn't follow the orks.

I was under the impression that Orks were not affected by the powers of chaos..... but they were willing to sub-contract from time to time.

Gork and Mork have snotlings to do their weedy work. They beat them out of Father Nurgle and he turned into a squig.

It's true, orks have much less tenancy to fall for the powers of chaos, though they do have a great presence in the warp (Gork and Mork). However, some orks do go in for all the pomp of Chaos. Most notably the Storm Boyz, who quite appreciate the greatness of Khorn, the blood god.

I've heard of Chaos Orks, so I think Orks CAN fall to Chaos. Plus when it involves massive combats, you don't really have to push an Ork that hard...

Orks can fall to the worship of Chaos deities, usually Khorne but since Nurgle, or more speciffically a Great Unclean One looks like an Ork god they can sometimes end up succumbing to the lures of Nurgle by mistake. Orks even have a healthy respect for the Emperor too but none worship Him, at least not in any of the background material I've ever read.

Then it would cut itself.

In the end, SoB are uppity female canines who enjoy their faith in the emperor so much, I'd say they themselves are no longer truly human. They've given up normal life in exchange to become bolter-bitches.

Was it not that Stormboyz are Orks who crave discipline and regiment and have turned away from the unruly majority of Ork society, seeking instead a group where they can practice tactics whilst still getting the combat they crave?
I cant recall any links with Khorne or worshipping him.

In the old Rogue Trader fluff (Specifically "Waargh the Orks") there were mentions of Stormboyz worshiping Khorne. However, in general Orks do not worship other gods; they simply don't care about religion, as long as they get to kick in heads here in the real world.

Having a god that is willing to point you at heads to kick, make you better at kicking heads, encourage you to kick heads and otherwise leave you alone does seem like something orks wouldn't mind, though.

Right, but Gork and Mork already fulfill that function. Plus, no ork worth his choppa would worship a god who isn't a healthy shade of green!

There used to be ork models with khornate symbols on them and in the RT books slaves to darkness and the lost and the damned it was possible to have chaos orks that could become daemon princes. But then it was possible to have tyranid chaos followers that become daemon princes too...

Orks are psychic potato's..... they grow in the ground (can't pic, but in the 3rd edition dex there is one), and they are the most powerful psychers in the galaxy (they are just too stupid to realize it)

they are the most powerful psychers, because "the red ones always go faster", They have weapons that ONLY work in the hands of an ork. Mad docs... c'mon... really? They make space ships outta flying asteroids. And they are free to use all their mental abilities cuz no chaos deamon wants to get stuck in the head of an ork!
