Lost in the warp. Halp!

There's Imperial Guard, because Cadians are fun.

There's Chaos Marines, because the decline of something noble is fun to watch.
(Word Bearers? Something else?)

There's Tyranids, because om nom nom. And they're new.
(Also, cheap excuse to paint stuff.)

There's more Space Marines, because I don't have a Codex chapter yet.
(Salamanders = fire = fun?)

Am I going insane? And how do I choose what army to sacrifice my precious and very tiny amount of spendable cash to when I have entertaining reasons for each?

I swear, I'm losing my mind.

Angels of Nezeria (Dark Angels successor chapter)
Tau Marines: Defectors to the Tau Empire (let the nerdrage begin!)
Fledgling Cadian Imp Guard: because I want to paint tanks
Member of the Cadian 642nd -- even in death we serve the Emperor!
DR:70--S+GM+++B+I+Pw40k09#+D+++A++/wWD-R++T(F)DM+ (except i really suck and my last game was during 6th ed)
KamikazeCanuck: It's more like a big, giant red button in a glass case with a little hammer that says "Break in case of Galaxy on fire"

IG could be fun. Much different then MEQs, plus you have a good excuse to take them with your SM in Apocalypse games.

IG are indeed quite fun, if you get around most of their non-armored tanks squshyness. IG melta vets ftw ;p

Also... you could also go a fun air force themed army of valk's, vendetta's and more melta vets/stormtroopers

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also... did people metion the slowed amount of tanks you can take with the IG? Friend of mine today fielded 3 tanks in a 1000pt game... 2 1000pt space wolf armies lost about 75% of their forces in the first two rounds.

FIGHT IT!

Pick up a copy of No Quarter! magazine right away. Get into a D&D (NOT DH!) group. Browse the FFG website and think of purchasing a new board game. You must not get sucked into more than one 40k army so quickly. You'll give yourself hobby overindulgence syndrome, which leads to dangerously low long-term gaming enthusiasm.

Have you painted your first army? I'd recommend getting that out of the way first! Otherwise you could end up like me- a backlog of miniatures so large you could use it to make a staircase to the moon.
I'm terribly bad at resisting new army syndrome though. Even when I'm broke.

I play orks to specifically combat the urge to buy new armies. Why? Orks can do everything, just get a few more units and redesign how you play. Maybe you should just do the same thing, expand your SM repertoire to play a different style.

Try getting into Necromunda.... less stuff to buy, and prob. even deeper game play...

Failing that... IG, so that you can jump into Necromunda .
At least it doesn't look like bandwaggoning and you get to mech up or mass bodies, anyway you like it.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

You have SMs, so CSM & more SM are redundant. Guard is Imperials, and shooty, so not a strong break.

Go Nids for the new Codex and new models.

Ugg its killing me too. I now have 3 armies I am working on and I only play 1-2 times a week! I now want to start IG and Eldar OMG MAKE IT STOP!
