Crap, I was going for them but I forgot they had Melta bombs.

They win every time then.

I'd go with a three suit team of broadsides. STR10 AP1 72" board-clearing range that can be independently targeted (target lock) and is twin-linked.

I'd go with a Devastator squad with 4 lascannons, 5 ablative wound dudes, and a sergeant with a meltabomb and a signum. Prohibitively expensive, but for pure infantry-based tank busting power, you cant beat 4 lascannons, (one going at BS5) or a meltabomb and 9 krak grenades in any given assault phase.

Add 6 marker drones too (although of course those are only good within 36 inches).

Farsight with 7 bodyguards, all bodyguards armed with twin-linked fusion blasters and a missle pod, with hard-wired multi-trackers, hard-wired target locks, and a bunch of marker drones.

It isn't very points efficient, but theoretically you could take out 8 tanks. You can also use the dawn blade on a tank if necessary.

Unfortunately not great against monoliths, because you can only glance with fusion blasters (no 2d6). Still, you might take it out.

A squad of either two tanks or one very big tank.

Glad to help.

Broadsides win for sheer ability to kill/cost ratio. About 80 points total (Since you have to buy some piece of wargear for each one to have - personally, mine use Targeting Arrays since I really only run 1 or 2 total) for a tank-clearing gun that can hit just about anywhere on the map, depending on board size. As much as Monoliths suck, they're really no harder to take down than Land Raiders.

Oh, and in terms of killing tanks, Broadsides make their points back in 1-2 kills. Plus, gotta love firing on open-topped 10 armor vehicles. Auto-pen, 3+ to destroy it.

I've found talos do a surprisingly good job peeling open landraiders. The trick is not getting shot up too badly on route. As far as fire magnet + 100 points vs whatever the landraider is, it can be pretty efficient in low points games.

I'd have to agree with Gwar! the humping fox. Nothing much better than that. Then again, it's expensive, but you just pulped the crap out of those tanks from rear armor.

Ranged I'd have to agree with Logan, 5 Multimelta Longfangs with Terminator with Cyclone and power fist. I faced up against that and it toasted two of my tanks then was a major pain in the neck in assault too.

The broadside squad is probably a bigger bang for your points though.

Assaultwise its crazy expensive but a brood of carnifex with rerolls to hit strength 9 2d6 penetration or the bloodthirster because he actually flys to catch vehicles and has high strength attacks.

I would go for an IG Veteran squad with 3 Meltaguns, a Lascannon and a Demo Charge, all riding in a Vendetta.

That's:-
3 S8 Ap1 Melta shots
1 S8 Ap3 5" Blast
4 S9 Ap2 Shots, 3 of which are twin-linked

You could take a Squadron of 3 Vendetta's, and load up a squad of said Veterans in each one.
