Fixture of Dakka
Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

Hey folks! I'm trying to get a drawing done for a GT coming up (Saint Valentine's Day Massacre); I wanted a themed backdrop drawing for my army.
The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre (was a mob hit): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Valentine%27s_Day_massacre
I had a friend sketch out an initial idea...
I elaborated a little bit with a worse sketch:
Basically, I'm trying to recreate the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre in the grimdark 41st millenium. I have some notes to help flesh it out, but I need the help of someone who can actually draw and flesh this out. 11x17 or 12x24. If you possess the faculties to create this and are willing to do so, what would it take to get it done?

This is to serve as a backdrop for my army - IE, a little display showing that my army is thematically built towards the event, and that I'm cognizant of what the event is about.
Nothing special, and this is a one-use piece of artwork, although I'd not toss it away after it was done.

Just a relatively quick line drawing of what I was thinking. Just needs the IG commander and perhaps an Ork if you want one.
Also not done the grots, but they can be added in front of the Orks.
There will be a wall behind them with holes on
So if you like it, I will carry on.

Unfortunately I am going to bed now, and then (again unfortunately) I am going to work when I wake up
Thus it will be a while before I can do anything more to it, so if Dash likes it, I will be happy to do some more.
Also C&C welcome.

Silver, very good for a quick sketch - I appreciate your artistic talent very much.
Couple of notes - If I'm being too picky, please let me know. =p
This is centered around a historical event. The stick figure drawing that I provided is about as close to the historical event as I can get.
There were two guys dressed as cops (orks with shotguns), and two in trenchcoats (the gretchin with the fedoras and tommyguns). The gangsters lined up against the wall thought it was a legitimate raid until they got gunned down - the best way I could think of recreating this was having one (police = space marine) with a helmet on looking like a regular space marine, and one in the middle of taking his helmet off, clearly showing ork underneath.
The flying...model(?) probably doesn't belong - they're supposed to be lined up against the wall getting gunned down.
I FREAKING LOVE THE DEMON PRINCE! Can you make him look sad and also bullet-ridden?
The models below him are jumbled...is that a DE wych? Is she performing unspeakable acts upon the demon prince? Hrm...kinky...can you separate this out some?
I'm not sure what to say except that all the feedback I gave is sort of outlined in the terrible sketch I made and the notes on it. If you could take that fantastic artistic ability, flesh it out along those lines...we'd be in business. Also, PM me with the going rate for your services. Or post here.

Haha!
Well, I was trying to fit all the characters in, so I thought I may as well do a pile of bodies. The SoB has just been shot and will be trailing blood, the DE has fallen on the SM and is shooting off her last shots, and the SM has bought it and is at the bottom of the pile (bwahaha).
The daemon is kind of standing behind the corpse pile and/or rising from it.
I will re-do it to more like you sketched (I did the orks from the first picture and then realised that if I did the wall they would have to be shooting magic boomerang bullets to hit anything along the wall, which is why they are kind of piled up).
And to be honest, I am happy to do it for nothing, so long as you like it. Been a while since I have drawn anything.
As I say, might take me a while as I have a limited period of time to do anything in each day, but if you want it, you can have it

Holy smokes batman!
That's incredible!!!
At first I was worried about the address being on the wall instead of above it for coloring purposes, but I presume your artistic ability can overcome that.
Any way to put a helmet on one of those ork space marines? See my comment earlier. Also, the two shotgun and two tommygun question. If that's all too specific...ignore me; just a wishlist.
Can you take away the guns from the people getting gunned down? Make the guardsman have his hands up? I don't want them shooting back. =p
Beyond that, I'd say its perfect. If you can color it, put it on 12x24 or something solid that I can stand up behind my army during the GT and send it to me...the paypal fairy will pay you a visit. =p

Well, I can certainly change the image around for you, but I think it might actually be cheaper for you to take the image to your local print shop and have them do it there, rather than pay for trans-atlantic shipping and Englandland Pounds for printing (trust me, it is stupidly expensive to print here, even on A3).

Silver, didn't realize that you were overseas. You're probably right.
Are you drawing it by hand and then scanning? Are you using digital drawing means? I'm wondering if those are things that can be moved around in paint or something, or if you have to redraw the whole thing.

No worries.
I have a graphic tablet that I use for drawing, so it is all straight into the computer, which means it is easier to move stuff and change it etc.
Which is why if there is anything you want changing (as you mentioned above), just let me know and I can change it relatively easily; assuming that my drawing-foo is strong at that point in time

A humble doodle
I think I have done all the changes to it, and have added some simpe cartoon colour.
So, what do we think? Is that ok? Or is more required?

I like it!
I can't say more without sounding needy; I'm going to frame that and bring it with me to serve as a backdrop.
Any suggestions on what size paper that would best print to? 11x17? 12x24? Something else?

From what I remember it is 12x24 as you asked for in your first post (not sure which paper size that equates to though), so any multiple of that size should be fine.
And if you do want any more doing to it, just let me know, I don't mind.
