Leaving my Mega Armored Warboss onboard his Battlewagon (while the 9 MegaNobz formerly with him charged another target) in order to attack a Penitent Engine using a Boarding Plank...

The Raging, Moving & Running Pentitent Engine moved over 12" meaning I couldn't attack with my Warboss, and the MegaNobz ended up losing combat and the six survivors ran away without the Bosspole re-roll.

The Warboss later died in combat with the two Penitent Engines.

Moving my bikes forwards 5" off the line first turn, then not firing my dakkaguns at the stealers, sine I know that with a 24" no man's land I'm out of range. Then having the stealers move, run 5", then assault into my guys with a cool two inches to spare.

I then measured the table 40" across . D'oh!

In an all night build and paint fest, my brother couldn't get the glue to come out of the tube. What do you do then, you ask? Well you squeeze REALLY hard,of course! Glue shot out all over him, the model, the table, and he didn't find out till ten minutes later...all over his shoe and the floor. He glued his foot to the floor, and when he pulled it up, he tore a huge jagged chunk of linoleum.
In another glue related silliness....One time he accidentally glued his hand to the model, a bunch of tissues that he used to try and clean himself with, and, ultimately, the table.

The worst I've done is have glue on my hands when I sprayed the zip kicker. Chemical reactions cause heat! Heat burns skin! Less than fun.

Oh, and I glue my brothers models together now. It's for the best.

Big enough to have a fall down template. Yup, that's me!

In a risky gambit I jumpacked my 5-man BA assualt squad at a SW vindicator. I was just out of charge range so I didn't get a chance to charge with my melta-bombs. As I braced myself for the inevitable gakstorm headed my way I declared them going to ground as he fired. He missed, badly, and blew up about half a Blood Claws pack of his own.

Sighing with relief I went to move them into charge range. Then I remembered that they had gone to ground. D'oh!

Ok, here's mine, the point of the thread, i was doing a big spray-session spraying lots of my models. Included were two war walkers. After i'd finished spraying i realised that the cockpit screen were glued on and i'd sprayed over them. I got around it by painting it like they have in futuristic films in spaceships, if you get what i mean.

Another common one i find is forgetting to use your DE eternal hatred. I was playing a game against a guy in which my BG chargeed his orcs, i did badly and onyl hit with one of 11 attacks, and lost the combat. I fled and was run down. After my opponent said "Ahh that's a shame, 200 odd points down the drain. Shame you didnt have a bit of a boost in that combat, i think being able to re-roll missed hits would be useful. Shame you didnt have a special rule that allowed you to..." At this point i slapped my head. But, being a sport, my opponent let me take the whole combat again (nice guy) and it ended in a draw.

I remember once, I was gluing marines together and had the general mess of sprues laying about. I needed some food, went inside and forgot all about them. The problem with this was the next day I went back into my garage to find that I had left the super glue open, and it somehow was running out of the tube and onto the table I was working on. So then I had the fun job of figuring out how to get the sprues full of marines off the table without ruining anything.

During games though, shoot man I forget things all the damn time lol. Pretty much after the heated games is when I realized I had forgotten something that could of turned the tide of war for me.

One time I was putting some static grass on my Orks. I was holding one and I blew on it to blow any excess grass off. Unfortunately, I forgot to close the container, and a cloud of static grass erupted over my desk. That stuff gets EVERYWHERE.

Another time I accidentally broke one of my friend's battlesuits, right at those tiny, wussy ankles. In a rush to fix it without him finding out, I grabbed a bottle of glue. I squeezed it too hard, and the bottle exploded, covering my hands and wrists. I absentmindedly wiped my hands off on my jeans, which ended up with huge scales of glued superglue on what used to be a decent pair of pants. However, he never found out that I accidentally broke his battlesuit...

I have done a similar thing but with sand, i was basing some eldar with them and i accidentaly knocked off the tub. Unofortunately the lid was off, and about half the tub was spread all over the floor, it took me ages to salvage even a fraction of what i'd lost and a lot of it had disappeared or was to tricky to get out. A few weeks ago i lifted out an old book that was under the desk and out of it came loads of sand! You're right, it does get everywhere.

just the other day used a list with 5 terminators in a landraider, and typhus footslogging behind. if that isnt dumb enough the reason i did it was because the other 5 terminators are slaanesh terminators and i guess i just assumed they really, really didnt belong together. so im in the game and realize my idiocy and when the landraider got wrecked the termies popped out and moved together with typhus. problem is i forgot to declare that he was joining the unit and even though i tried to make my opponent understand it was obvious what i meant to do (because we had discussed the fact that WHY IS TYPHUS FOOTSLOGGING ALONE!!?1?!) he refused to allow typhus in the unit and proceeded to assault my 5 LC termies with his 5 furious charging templar LC termies. the following turn has yet to be played as typhus now stands only with his familiar to keep him company :(

i also just realized now that i forgot to include any melta bombs in the list too

another time i was putting my open-topped box of ALL my infintry miniatures (thrown in a heap, about 2000pts worth of csm's + terminators) up in the top of a closet, something slipped and down came the box. i found a marine hiding in a jacket a week later. i punished the deserter by means of death or glory in the next game he was in. he died.

I dont have the CSM dex on me, so unless Typhus has some special rule where he can only join units for specific reasons, he would of automatically joined the group if he was within coherency.

I can do you one "better". Once, while trying to open up a stuck glue bottle, I dumped half the bottle on my hands (Still not sure how). Forgetting I was dealing with superglue, I jumped up, and ran to wash them off before it set. It was about when the glue started to heat up that I realized what an idiot I was. I was picking bits of glue (and skin) off for a week afterwards.
