Warlord Imp's Top 5 D'oh moments:

5 - Hitting with a full White Scars bike squad led by Kor'sarro Khan and not running.

4 - Playing an entire game with my Terminators in a Land Raider. They were just chillin' in their pimped out ride.

3 - Spearing my thumb with a drill bit when trying to remove a magnet from my Space Marine Captain.

2 - Setting up my army on an Apocalypse table when my shorts got caught on my teammates deep striking Stompa. Crrrrrrraaaaaaash!!!

and the number 1 D'oh moment...
1 - Getting into 40K and WHFB. Ba dum dum...

This one hapened today. Whilst playing a game against my bro's girlfriend, my vindicator managed to scatter the shot back onto itself and destroy itself.

Lets just say it took us a few minutes to stop laughing and compose ourselves..

My superglue bottle had a whole it some how and leaked all over my wedding ring. I barely got it off the hand. Luckily I was friends with a jeweler who was able to remove the glue no problem.

A friend after driving 3 hours from Games Day decided to stay up and put together his new model. he almost removed his finger with the exacto knife.

Another friend's Chaos Dred fell off the table and shattered. And by shattered I don't a single part escaped unharmed.

A third friend moved his scoring unit off the objective during the bottem of the last turn and lost the tournament because of it.

I have many instances of failed dice rolling:

In 5d6 rolling 5 1's for Asurmens 2+ Armour Save on turn 2! (he had all of his 3 wounds remaining until my failure to roll above 1 at all in 5 dice rolls
A Fortuned Avatar being killed by a Splinter Pistol (yes thats right; he was on one wound, my opponent rolled a 4 to hit, 6 to wound and i rolled a 2 then a 1 for his 3+ Armour Save which i was allowed to reroll because of Fortune - just my luck)
3 Wave Serpents all with Twin-linked weaponry (Bright Lance, Missile Launcher, Shuriken Cannon) and I missed with every shot
Farseer with Runes of Witnessing being killed by Perils Of The Warp (yes I rolled all 6's and he had 1 wound remaining anyway - I failed his 4+ save as well)
In a 1500 point game not getting any of my 4 Deep Striking units in at all so I lost but only effectively had 800 Points!
Missing all of my squad of 5 Pathfinders shots with Ranger Long Rifles
11 Devastator Krak Missile Launcher hits at a Trygon needing 2's to wound but i rolled 9 1's, a 3 and a 5

Thats all I can think of ATM but there is more instances of my rolling failures.

Just realised that i've modeled some green stuff as a platform on a model, but have forgotten to put any of the blue stuff in. D'oh! Time to do it again.

THIS! Happens far more often than I'd like to admit. I need to start drinking from something with a lid while painting.

Yep! and how many of us just go "damn!" then think about it... "...meh whatever..." *sip "aahhhh sweet sweet tea"

actually speaking of paint-water... my 1yr daughter managed to reach the cup holding the water, and then when i tried to get it off her, she ran around wailing the cup around the lounge-room... ending the cacophony by tripping into the couch and throwing the cup onto it.

*sigh.. kids.

5- forgetting that my land raider had lysander and 5 assault termies in until the 5th turn
(still managed to kill 2 guard squads and a predator though)
4- forgetting about my master of the forge (when half of my shadowsword domination force's guns were destroyed
3- making ghazghkull, his mob of 30 orks, 15 legion of the damned, 25 guardsmen, yarrick , shrike, his vanguard veterans, lysander and his assault termies go into combat in the 2nd turn with a brood of genestealers, a broodlord, a brood of termagants, marneus calgar, 10 termies, 20 marines, tigirus, cronus, telion, his scouts, an honour guard squad and 4 captains over an apocalypse objective (it lasted the whole game with no winners)
2- deep striking all 30 of my legion of the damned, 20 termies, 25 guardsman, 30 orks, ect., forgetting that my opponent could deep strike too. ( he took out all of my tanks at the back wwhile the rest of my force were too far away to do any good)
1- forgetting about my super-heavies and tanks for the first 2 turns!!! (the fortress of arrogance, a shadowsword, a sentinel squadron, 3 leman russes, a bassilisk, a vindicator, a land raider ares and a land raider redeemer)!

My biggest D'oh moment ever:

Buying that stupid War Hydra model!!!!!!!
