Me and some friends are trying to compile a list of all the Warhammer 40k Codexes in the proper order and year of release.
Dating from the most current/upcoming codex to the very first. I figured there would be no better place to get help than from you guys with building a list, or perhaps someone has already made a full list of such, could anyone offer me a link?
Correct us if we are wrong and feel free to add
Blood Angels 5th Ed - 2010 (upcoming)
Tyranids 5th Ed - 2010 (current)
Space Wolves 5th Ed - 2009
Imperial Guard 5th Ed - 2009
Space Marines 5th Ed - 2009
Orks 4th Ed - 2008
Chaos Daemons 4th Ed - 2008
Chaos Space Marines 4th Ed - 2008
Eldar 4th Ed - 2007
Tau Empire 4th Ed - 2007
?

?
Tyranids 4th Ed - 2005
That is all we have so far, help needed.

I think apwill might be correct there. I know it was the first codex I bought, and it was the one that allowed Wolf Guard Terminators to arm themselves with a cyclone missile launcher AND an assault cannon EACH! I miss that codex
Codex Ultramarines might have come before it, that was 1995 too.
