As I promised in another thread, here is my Hellpit Abomination, as well as the one my flatmate created. I apologise for the fairly poor image quality. Note that my one (the first one) isn't completed yet. I need to file some GS surfaces back, and add texture to others. The finished areas on the sculpting are the pectoral muscle and the gums/throat of the big mouth. The second one has all its GS finished (I'm much lazier than him), but the section made from the corpsecart is eventually going to be covered with several coats of water effects after painting, to give the effect of a translucent, maggot-like digestive tract. Without further ado, the hellpit abominations!

Oh these are good. Actually, I think these are some of the best I´ve seen so far.

Brilliant idea, using the body of the Soulgrinder.

I really like how different they look too, and how mutated and sickly they´ve come out.

Wow, these are really, really nice. I love the use of the Soul Grinder bodies. They both work really well. No you've both got to get painting.

Both brilliant. The first one looks meaner, and the second one has to be the grossest conversion i've ever seen; what the hell is with all those bodies falling out of the back of it?! Is that part of the fluff?

Both truly awesome models - I think the second one may be just narrowly my favourite but I really like the way you've balanced the arms on yours despite them not being symetrical...

It makes me wonder why we haven't seen more undersized Nurgle Plaugetowers based on the Screaming Bell chassis though... Seems so obvious after seeing your model...

Cant wait to see 'em both painted!

Awesome stuff. I the first one, especially where the soulgrinder shoulder blends right into that tiny spawn arm. Really good work, cant wait to see them with a coat of paint.

Paint really really needed. This is going to be one formidable model! I always wondered what you could do with a soul grinder torso, and now you took it to the top! Cant wait to see moar

Man there are some really disgusting but well sculpted conversions popping up in painting and modeling today. Great work! I'm hoping to see a suitably nauseating paint job on these guys soon.

Oh sweet! I love the mouth part on the 1st one's belly. Plus the beetle jaws on the second one are also cool. These are really gross!

Alright, I'm hearing a lot of requests for painting to get done, so I'll tell my flatmate when he gets back from work. I'll finish the epoxy work on mine once I've finished building this bloodclaw squad, and finished painting my mawloc (both are 1/2 done). So, tonight or tomorrow I'll finish sculpting it, painting will begin roughly 24 hours from when I'm finished. I'm kind of a slow painter though, and I plan on doing this well so there'll probably wind up being a thread in P&M Blogs forum.

Not the greatest pics, but I've been drinking some very nice home-made double malt and my hands are a bit shaky. I've finished the sculpting and begun painting on my HPA. No word on 3vil_m3xican's one, I don't think he's had time to start painting. Don't forget that clicking on the pics will take you to the gallery and a higher resolution with the ability to zoom in.
