Well, I got bored one day and was looking at all my Chaos bitz I had and then at my Adepticon 09 Force. I wanted to make a Summoned Greater Demon that no one else has. I do have the Ultraforge Nurgle-like Demon but still wanted something special. When I saw the bunny from the reaper familer pack a bulb went off. BUNNYTHIRSTER with big, sharp, pointy teeth. This is still a WIP and have alot to do on it but wanted to get a few pictures out there for C&C.

Fantastic idea!

One suggestion, have the dead CSM holding a banner that would be about the height of the proper thrister model. Should help against people coming about the overall height for LOS.

I was thinking about that. The orginal idea was to have a tall rocky out cropping with this guy laying on the top with the bunny on his chest surrounded by headless guardsmen at the base of the out cropping. I just could not get the guard to sit right so I used this idea.

If I cannot figure out how to fix the LOS issue might just ask the person I am playing if it is fine to use him and they can see him no matter the LOS except for obvious issues like a behind a 12" intact building and the like.

I wish I could get a good close up of the bunny's face. it has such an evil, hate filled look in its eyes it so great. Whom ever scuplted that mini didn't get paid enough.

For an Apoc game I could run him as a Bloodthirster from the Chaos Deamon Codex with everything but death strike.

His squeak is the Instrument of Chaos make all run away!
His small size and speed counts for the Daemonic Flight, Iron Hide and Blessing of the Blood God.
His big, pointy bunny teeth counts for the Unholy Might and Monsterous Creature stats.
Of course since he is a summoned demon he is fearless.

I think I would be too if I spawned and then had to chew my way threw the chest of a sweaty, crazy, blood frenzied superman to escape.

He would never fly at a Games Day since the bunny is from Reaper but at Adepticon oh yes. I went last year, not going this year but next year I think Bunnythirster will be making an appearence. I wonder if he would be allowed into 'ard boyz since a majority of the model is GW.

Great idea. My only thought would be people might complain about LOS issues if he is fielded as a "counts as" bloodthirster which stands really tall. Might be construed as "modeling to advantage." My advice would be to either: a) slap those people in the face... viciously; or b) maybe put him upon a large corpse and/or skull pile until he is taller?

But otherwise, fantastic. This is the sort of great stuff that the hobby needs. Good work.

I'd go with a bit of terrain rather than a skull pile or anything, it would have to be a very big pile to get the bunny up to height.

Very cool.

On the LOS issue:
I would second the idea of planting a regular 'thirster-sized banner on there somewhere for LOS purposes.

Otherwise, grab a piece of black card or semi-transparent dark-grey plastic (no, I have no idea where you would get such a thing) and cut out a Bloodthirster-shaped silhouette. That could then be attached to the back of the base, with shadow painted onto the base between the bottom of the cut-out and the feet of the bunny. He then has a 'thirster-shaped LOS 'shadow'.

Or, for that matter, just create a Bloodthirster-shaped cut-out out of card, and carry it with you when you play. When someone wants to draw LOS to the bunny, just hold the cut-out up behind the base.

That's if your opponent has any quibbles over LOS. Frankly, the model's cool enough that I personally wouldn't really care about any perceived LOS advantage. But others' MMV.

I was really thinking about how to take care of the LOS issue when playing the game. I hated the idea of trying to rip it apart to make a taller base when the most elegant and simple solution this LOS problem. Well, I will just show you and then I will discribe the solution.

Ok, all this is a top off a Krylon Flat Black spray paint can. It is 60mm wide and flat black just as the base is. What I normally do is go over the base with GW Chaos Black anyways to give it an even color. Right now they are not glued together and I don't think I will. But to solve the issus of the model not staying on top of the base I am going magentize the bases together so I can take it off the taller base. What do you think of this idea to solve the LOS. I know it is not as tall as the bloodthristers wing tops but the wings do not count towards LOS per the RAW.
