YKTR2 people think my new found painting skills are better than theirs. That is a record. And a major confidence boost from a local kid encouraging you to repaint your "crappy" models I did when I started into the hobby. Admitably they are crap but it pisses me off.

I've been told my painting is crap too, by one with Ultramarines which were little more than thrown in mordian blue then shining gold tossed on the shoulders.
I believe the best response is always "Cool story bro" in these cases unless they can actually teach you something. 
It doesn't matter much anyway, it's more important if you like it.
