Not only have I been working on an Angry Marines Army, but I am getting ready to build an Angry Marines fleet, complete with the flagships "the Litany of Litany's Litany" and "Maximum F

". Knowing that many Imperial ships are not painted exactly like the ground troops, I am unsure on how to paint these ships.

Any thoughts or ideas on what I can do?

here are some quick color ideas that I whipped up:

like my other thread, I will post images as soon as I finish them. ideas and comments are greatly appreciated.

I say c. and make many unneeded things all over the ship like swords, spikes and stuff like that

Obviously, you need to add a fist as the ramming tip and at the end have tiny chain blades coming off. Duh...

The Litany of Litany's Litany and Maximum F*** were depicted as using dark hull colors, but overall most chapters use chapter colors for their fleets. I would go with C.

Definitely C. Yellow makes me angry, so it is fitting.

C. But on the ending a fist with the middle finger up and the middle finger is the ram.

Chalk up one more vote for C. It will be immediately recognizable from across a room that you're playing with an Angry fleet.

If you can find it, the old Warhammer Siege battering ram had a nice rock fist bit, would work perfectly as a prow.

All of the above suggestions are marvelous. I also have to vote C for a paint scheme - it definitely seems more "angry" colored (The red and black bases are just way too dull, yellow is very bold). Also, a huge fist for the prow of the ship is brilliant.

In the comic strip depicting two of the Angry marine vessels.... they were both dark green in colour with black highlights. That said... i'm partial to C out of the available colour schemes.

(I vote for C and heartily agree with the recommendations presented - explosions, fist, middle finger, and copious amounts of oversize melee weaponry)

Yea, C for sure. It may or may not be how fleets are normally painted, but anyone will know that its an angry marine fleet just looking at it. And yea, middle finger, and chainswordchainswords everywhere. Think almost orky/angry when adding the spikes and such on there.

I havnt said it this week, so I love the Angry Marines lol

just a bit of an update, I finished painting some escort vessels with color scheme C, and I am almost done painting the Litany of Litany's Litany. I also finished priming Maximum F

. I will take pics and show ya what I got once I finish painting everything, which will hopefully be sometime this week. wish me luck!

Lol, this is an awesome concept. You should definitely give it a bumper sticker with angry words -that don't circumvent the language filter-

It should have a giant chainsword that hangs underneath it so that it can just fly over other ships and cut them in half.

option c. Also I think it would be funnier to have a hand hold a baseball bat with a nail through it on the front. A fist is angry, a baseball bat is angrier
