Nope, he's off to South Africa on 'work'. So it'll just be us two this time around.

I was in there a few weeks ago when they wer ehaving a 25% off GW stuff sale, wa stalking to the staff and they said they've been open since September time last year, were online only prior to that.

Nice little shop, emphasis on little, it is central london after all.

Unfortunately you all missed their opening SALE!!! As Gargskull mentioned there were some real bargain. They pretty much stock everything (FOW, Warmachine, Magic, and GW).

If you go onto the sight it mentions the history, but the company use to be Miniatures By Post, but changed the name when they got the retail space. You can also play games there and it seems they are really pushing the community angle with regular games night and intro gaming for most of their systems.

I've not played, but for you Vets out there they seem to have a pretty strong Blood Bowl league.

Yeah, Dark Sphere's been mentioned before. I do all my online 40k shopping there, the reduction from RRP is insane. Really good service too, I'd recommend them to anyone.

Do they sell vallejo paints as well?

Thei's more stuff in the shop then on the web site, the guy's told me they had just started expanding their product ranbge but wanted to get it alkl in the shop and sorted out before they put it on the web. Plenty of warmachine in stock in the shop for instance.

Ah fair enough.

Went to the shop today, it was a very cool place. Very small, but packs a lot in with a load of obscure ranges (pegasus buildings, hexagon, infinity) and less obscure like warmachine, fow and GW stuff. Quite a few back issues of white dwarf and best of all I managed to get the multiple cans of army painter primer that I was after. Hurrah! Vallejo Game Color but not Vallejo Model Color (beyond the FoW painting box sets), but there really is not enough space for it by the looks of things.

If you are in London and have not been, it gets my thumbs up and will be the one I support from here on out (well saying that, a trip to Brighton's warlord games is still on the cards too but that is quite a bit further afield).

Nonsense poopypants! Get the 29 Bus from out the back of my house and you're in Brighton in just under 2 hours. Luvverly.

I've been, and it's a really decent place! Literally opposite the London Eye.

Good discounts on GW stuff and loads of terrain etc. FOW, MTG, and other smaller companies represented and a gaming table to boot!

It's definitely worth checking out!

I played a game there last night against ArbitorIan. I was play testing a 1000pts Grots List. I lost :(

The store is pretty small. But It's rammed full of hobby goodness. I picked up a second set of the GaleForceNine Tank Traps, for £2 cheaper than I paid for my first set at the Orcs Nest. They also stocked lots of different brands of terrain, amera, galeforce nine, pegasus - the hexagon type terrain stuff... lots...

They have 2 6x4 tables, and the staff was pretty cool and helpful. So I'm heading back down there on Saturday to pick up some of the new KillaKans and Dred.

They had loads of boxes of Kans and Dreds and battle mission books on display, but they arn't allowed to sell until Saturday, they open at 11am. I'm working a 12hr shift 'on call' saturday, so if the phones quiet I'll be down there to pick some up.
