More Orcs & Goblins coming in May

Guess this is what JJ was talking about with regards to support for existing armies. I'm sticking to my skaven in Fantasy, but hoping at least that the Trolls look better than the Minotaurs.

Beyond high time the boar model was updated. Great news for Orc and Gobbo armies.

Any pics of said Trolls? Anyway, I'd expect more models if there is no army book, because I don't know about you guys, but there are plenty of models needing a recast in that line. In particular, the Feral/Savage Boyz.

My first though upon hearing the news. Great minds think alike clearly.

The plastic River trolls are, IMO, vastly superior to the cowmen.

Boars are a Nelson sculpt... I think they're the ones we saw the green/s for ages back... not sure. More than one pose though at least.

Well, I am sad it was the vastly superior Stone Trolls that were chosen for the plastic treatment - BUT, the good thing is that I don't own any River Trolls yet, so, now I will!

Very cool . However, I wonder how many new players this will tempt to O&G, without an army book to go with it? A lot of the excitement may come from current O&G players (as there are admittedly a lot, even if they're armies are in hiding right now...)

I think it's more about replacing incredibly old models with new plastic.

As long as they're not terrible sculpts like the minotaurs, it's a good call.

Most definitely... I guess I'm just wanting for more, more, more... is that too much to ask?

Isn't it possible that the Troll kit will be able to make Stone Trolls, River Trolls, etc?

I remember those boar greens, nice to see they're finally getting released. And nice plastic trolls means everybody needing big monstrous infantry wins

The boxed set will make River Trolls only. Here is a quote from Hastings of Warseer who has apparently seen the models:

@ people confused about choice of River Trolls, AFAIK they are the most useful of the troll choices to O&G players AND they have the worse models of the troll types (the stone trolls are amongst my favourite models EVER!), I'd much rather they replaced a bad/poor looking model before the frankly quite awesome stone trolls, not however to say that they won't get the same treatment soon When you see the river trolls you'll appreciate why it was not possible to make them a multi-type troll kit, they are very fishy, webbed feet, scales, dorsal fin type bits, pond/river weed on parts of them and their weapons, one is even armed with a large barbed fishing hook to make this kit multi-type troll would have meant far too many compromises IMO plus there is some variety there with several head and arm choices, which again would not have been possible without too much compromise. IMO this is one of THE best plastic kits GW have done for a "big guy" type unit, and I for one am really please a/ that they chose to do them and b/ that they look so damn good

Im extremely glad they are updating those old crappy boar boys... trolls will be nice too.. .guess Im going back to O&G... although I would really like a new army book >.<
