Fairly expensive yet not too bad compared with the price of the larger GW kits.

I can imagine it as a Ork submarine, some kind of Imperial small spaceship or maybe at a pinch an Eldar skimmer -- it would need tarting up with some Wraithbone fins.

It doesn't look very Tau but could be used for a Tau allied unit.

I would use something like that for VSF or Steam Punk settings. Organic and techy = nice!

You're right -- I didn't think of Steampunk.

I have emailed a question about the size to HLJ.

That's the package size.

The package is usually somewhat larger than the dimensions of the biggest single part of the model but can vary a lot from the size of the built-up kit.

Weird - but awesome!

A pre-heresy AM vehicle if I ever saw one.

Which I haven't, of course!

I can't see it being too useful period, given that it's affixed to the stand pretty securely.

I'm sure it is affixed using an alloy if Impossibilium and Unobtanium, so yes, it could probably never be removed...

A little too steam-punk for Tau.

HLJ answered my question about the size.

Thank you for writing in.

The completed Satsuma is about 20cm (almost 8 inches) long.

Top half looks tau, all fish shaped.

Maybe it be used as a Tau human auxiliary vehicle.

that looks pretty cool.

Kinda looks like it belongs in Bioshock, or something.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.
