Small claims court go!!

Don't forget reciepts and stuff because it's kind of hard to believe how expensive it is. As a bonus bring in the big chunk of melted marines.

Also the fumes that come from GW plastic is toxic, so I guess there could possiblly be slight lung damage or even brain damage. Consider it Nurgle's attempt at getting revenge.

In most of the US someone who did that would have committed felony arson, among other things. The dollar amount is enough to push this into grand theft, another felony, in many jurisdictions.

Unless this was not a first offense, the DA would never pursue a felony charge. Most jurisdictions would lop this and tell him to take it to civil court.

It all depends on how many dv incidents the parties have been involved in.

Also my mellow attitude may have contributed to the fact that I haven't been stolen from since highschool. You know karma and what not.. Being resentful about gak just pisses on your life not theirs. And at small claims lots of dirty laundry might be aired.. so yes I would indeed let it go and cease contact with the crazy girl.

Really though, I'd take it to SCC. You might not get -all- your money back, but something is better than nothing.
