Hi,
I'm making an Ork army and the plan is to have it as customised as possible, consequently instead of a unit of 30 Grots, I'm gonna have 30 Squigs with various weapons grafted on to their heads (representing the Grot Blasta).
Here's my problem - GW only sell Squigs in groups of 5 and for £12 a pop, Wayland games sells the same for about £11 - I'm not keen on spending £72 on a unit of squigs. Now I am keeping a close eye on eBay for bargains without much luck, but I was wondering if any of you knew any online stores that either sell squigs really cheaply, or sell Squig replicas cheaply.
Alternatively, if any of you have squigs you'd like to sell/donate to me directly that wold work for me also 
Anyway, any advice would be good, cheers.

Why not make your own?
A ball of GS with a couple of feet and a few scales etc patterned on, and a huge mouth full of teeth. Seems relatively easy to do

Thanks for the link and also for the welcome That looks like a useful site! Unfortunatly they don't look enough like Squigs for my liking, too furry! The website as a whole looks good though, might have to see what they've got that I can pinch
I've thought about scratch building some Squigs, only problem being that I am rubbish with green stuff (I have the sculpting skills of a haddock), I imagine that mine would look like marbles with dodgy lumps on them :(

To be honest, marbles would probably be a good base shape for them if you can get som of the right size

I've made a few custom squigs. The mouth and teeth are the really, really painful bits to do.
There is a reason all my squigs have ended up with grills or metal gobs. (I want to do one in a racing helmet.)

Ork heads could be used as the basis for the heads, or maybe genestealer heads or something. I like the idea though.
You could use toothpicks or something to represent the teeth either. I dunno man, I'm a pretty poor sculptor too.

Check out Bartertown.
I had an idea very similar to yours. I posted an ad and, within 24 hours, I'd made a deal for THIRTY squigs.
I don't remember the exact cost, but they were DARN cheap.

As with most things, easier said than done. You also consider how much time and material you're going to be investing in getting something you find acceptable.
