Just this week I finally finished my unit of 15 Lootas. I've been putting off painting them forever, since I absolutely hate painting them, despite loving all things green and Orky. I think this shows in their below-average paintjobs, but it's no matter. I also built them a kustom plastic Big Mek using an AoBR nob and some Mek bitz from the Lootas kit. So, without further ado, here they are!

The four I just painted:

With the 5 Kommandos I painted last week:

And the whole unit of Lootas with their Big Mek:

Looking good, but I don't see a Big Mek. I see a Mek though a big one.

Win/Draw/Lost statics
Space Orks: 11/1/1
Space Marines: 10/2/5
Lizardmen: 8/2/3
High Elves: 13/2/2 and one tournament victory!
Dark Eldar: 1/0/0

Well, a Big Mek has the exact same statline as a Nob, with +1 leadership I think. I pretty much just stuck him in there so they'd have a bosspole, and because I thought it would be a cool kitbashing opportunity. I figure'd I'd give him a KMB rather than a Shokk Attack Gun that has as much a chance of killing the enemy as it does of teleporting my fire support into hand to hand combat!

Big mek also has a bigger base though. Important if your fielding one.

I like the canned kommando. The mek seems less kustom than I was expecting form the subject heading.

It's a good looking elite force, so far. Can we get a better shot of the kommandos unit?

Nice paint job though I have to agree the mek seems a little small to be a big mek.
