I love my uncle.

I arrived home from another hard day at school, very pissed off (but thats another story...), and found an odd looking package on the table adressed to me. Seeing it was from my Uncle, I opened it with more than a little apprehension, only to find to my delight a brand new AOBR set waiting there, with a little note from him apologising for forgetting my Birthday last year. I ain't complaining .
But now I've hit a snag-though I've decided what clan the Orkses are going to hail from, I'm undecided on the Marine chapter. I don't want to paint them as an existing army, for no reason other than I have extreme magpie syndrome [], so I was hoping you guys could help me decide. Any questions or alternative suggestions, feel free to speak up.

I've just voted Crimson Fists, but after re-reading your intro I'm a little confused, I saw you don't want to do an existing chapter.

If that's the case then check out lexicanum for an lesser known chapter.

Perhaps I was a little unclear-When I said I don't want to do an existing chapter, I meant a chaapter I already own (so Dark Angels, Howling Griffons, or Ultrasmurfs). So Crimson fists are fine.

Remember this list is purely my favourite chapters-feel free to suggest anything. Sadly, my painting ability when it comes to yellow is pretty abysmal...still, suggestion duly noted.

All the ideas recognised and taken on board. If I did do Bood Angels, you'd better believe they'd be flesh tearers-still the only thing I like about BA's.
And don't worry-Da Blood axes 'ave always been da killiest klan for me, and dat ain't changin soon ....

I would suggest creating your own color scheme. Puts a bit more originality into your marines, just for the love of god don't do Ultramarines.

Nah, every one's going to do flesh tearers. Every time I visit a thread that mentions ba, there's at least one person who's thinking about flesh tearers. If you do them as ba, do them as something like angels sanguine.

Or you could do Angels Vermillion, those were what I tried to emulate when I first got into 40k but I ended up changing the scheme a bit.

@Ashtorath: There is no chapter called the Sons of the Tempest. There is a chapter called the Tempestors. But they are known only by name. No other information is given.
