Meh looks okay but I don`t think I will buy it if the rest of the game looks like that.

Because I can and I also think I need to like the gun models if I am going to spend x amount of cash on said game. It looks alrigth but most likely as interesting as a wet piece of paper

It just says on the cover "Includes Halo Reach beta access".

The ONLY thing that comes with it regarding "Halo: Reach" is a tiny little thing with the teaser art of the team standing in front of Reach saying "Invitation included with Halo: ODST".

All you need to access the Reach beta is the ODST disk.

When the beta opens, you go to ODST's main menu, then go to the "Extras" section.

This will allow you to download the beta.

Son of a bitch. I can just rent it!

Well all of the Halo books emphasize how every Spartan has a knack for something, except Master Chief, he's the all round guy who just seems to have a lot of luck. (Which is actually a reason he was picked)

But in the books theres distinct difference in behavior, not in armor as shown here, so that has me somewhat perplexed.

Edit: Gameplay Wise. They have already stated that there will be Armor Abilities. Like, Jetpack, Uber running, Dodge rollin, some weird ass shield etc.

IF I were you Cheese I'd buy ODST pre-owned. The beta could run anywhere from a week to a month and by the looks of trailer and such your going to want to get the most out of it. ODST is win by itself anyway.

Nah... ODST only lasted for the campaign for me. Tried firefight once or twice, and I was gone. T'was more of a sideshow.

Meh, each to their own, I really enjoyed firefight and was often up playing till early hours of the morning, also I got my xbox around the time ODST was coming out thus no point of buying original halo. Therefore ODST was the viable option.

Yeah, I've just read through the Bungie site and it seems like there will not be classes as such, but ah well.

Seems a bit silly that they have so many different armours and not actual "classes" (ie letting you play one of the Spartans with a more specialized roles).

And I would love to play more firefight, but on one on my friends list seems to play it any more, which is a shame, as it can be quite fun.

Huh, as far as I was aware reach was getting custom loadouts, I've also heard you can assign equipment liek bubble shields and grav lifts etc to your class. Are you telling me this isn't true?

I have no idea, there does not seem to be any mention of it on the Reach section of the Bungie site, unless I have missed it.

I've only done the most cursory search though.

These look good! Hard to tell how good without some context, though...

Just to confirm what other posters said, there's no slip of paper with ODST with a code... you just need the disc.

I just watched the multiplayer demo for the first time on the website! May 3, 2010! Can't wait...
