No, no. What he's described is a "Redneck". The mullet is a dead give away when identifying that particular sub-species.

I just finished this guy up. He's not an incredibly original looking DE Truborn, but I'm really happy with how he turned out.

The metallics on that de are great- how exactly did you get it like that?

Here are two conversions I am quite fond of, two kinds of wraiths: a branchwraith and a... pumpkin... wraith...

DE models usually look a bit lame, but that Trueborn is fantastically well done in an appropriately sinister way. Nice one.

The branch wraith is also cool.

For the bronze areas of my trueborn:

First mix equal parts tin bitz and dwarf bronze. Darken that up a lot with scorched brown. This is the basecoat.
Then, layer on a mix of equal parts tin bitz and dwarf bronze.
Next I used brown in on the recesses.
To highlight, add mithril silver to your tin bitz and dwarf bronze mix. Done!

Thraka is a Citadel Finecast model that has been primed in Army Painter Colour Primer (Plate Mail Metal). Awesome stuff to use on any model that has a lot of areas that will be painted metal / silver colour.

This warshrine is probably my favourite conversion to date, idea is troll charged with carrying a sacred shrine across the world, also looks a bit like a stargate
