Do those 'various websites' have screenshots of the White Dwarf saying Flash Gits are next week and not big guns or the codex?
I'm pretty sure he meant the week after the Gitz.
So guns would release on the 21st, and codex would be no earlier by the 28th. At least, that's what I think he's saying.
Right, we're saying different things. Fair enough though. I was focusing on the 'Codex is not this week' bit, he was focusing on the 'Codex is next week bi
Right this is exactly what I am trying t say. We have know since What last friday? almost a whole week that flashgitz would be the release for this week. Or for the 6th... What I am now saying is that we now know that next week or for the 13th that It will be big gunz and that will likely be all. We have seen new SAG mek and possibly new mega nobz so we can give them their own weeks for 20 and 27 and before you know it we are in july before we see the ork codex. I HAVE NO INSIDE INFORMATION I am simply drawing logical conclusions based on what we know so far as fact!

That... would really blow. I'm getting more and more frustrated with GW's whole crazy secretive release schedule thing. If I had a certain date for the codex release, I'd be fine - at that point it's just waiting. Currently, it's "yeah... it might be next week. Or the week after that. Maybe later than that. But we're not telling you."

I give up on the trying to make the quotes work thing but yes after gitz then big gunz. NO codex I would bet money that after big gunz will come either the new meks we have seen pictured then mega nobs (or vice verse) then the codex in the sixth week of ork releases.

To be honest you can throw most of the rumors you hear out the window... How about them new chaos kits that we were supposed to get before 7th? This may be a slowing down by GW. Maybe we will go back to getting 1 or 2 codexes a year in 7th as opposed to the massive number we saw during 6th? It very well may delay the release of whatever is next but who is to say that GW was not planning on releasing whatever is next after the orks were done with their 6 eek release... maybe we will see a full 8 weeks of orks including the supplement rumored? My point is who really knows. just take the most probable things and put them together and right now logic tells me that there is no chance of us seeing the codex until around the 27th after big gunz and after meganobz. there is a chance that the codex will drop with the new SAG mek and the other mek we saw with the big gunz... My first reaction when I saw the big gunz was that I thought they were buggys. Given that the idea of a dual kit has been mentioned with grot gunners for the buggies this would make a huge amount of sense for GW, not only plugging two gaps in the range but creating a very popular kit sales wise. I wouldnt be at all suprised if the buggies ended up with pintle or cage mounted versions of the big gunz weapons.
I have a few reservations about the other new models.
The Gorkanaut looks a little monopose although this may just be the way the models in the picture have been assembled. I also think some of the weapons look a little lost on it.
Whilst the Flash Gits look pretty awesome the size of their guns gives them the look of them all being a bit short. Again this is probably just the perspective in the photos.
The Manz also look a bit plain and boring against the gitz but nothing a bit of kit bashing wont solve

My guess is:
- Flash Gitz head
- Flash gitz left arm
- Nob Right arm and Big choppa
- Savage Orc ?? torso, maybe flash gits?
- Nob/Flash gitz leg.

I am guessing the legs and torso are Flashgitz. Nob torso and legs are clam shelled, making cutting torsos and legs apart for use as components difficult.

That heavily segmented stomach is typical of the fantasy orks i think. So some sort of new legs coupled with a fantasy torso.

That does look like the old style abs, but look at the vest flapping. I could be the biker boyz torso, but my money is on the body being the new kit.
I do not recognize the legs either, so must be the flash glitz.

Yep, everything on the Freebooter is new except the Nob big choppa arm.
My original plan was to get a box of Gits and a box of Nobz, using the leftover bitz from the Flash Gitz set to make another 5 gitz without spending as much. Now, though, if the components are that easily interchangeable, it might be worth buying a second box of Gitz to model into a Freebooter-themed Nob unit with leftover parts from the Nob box.
