I think it's best for all of us if we don't see what is in the bag!

From the infinity forums they mention it is a Harp.

I have no idea why though...

After every succesful mission he performs his signature blistering electric harp solo?

Is 'rage-knife' going to be a thing now or is that an acceptable use of your off hand?

The re-paint makes it look like a decent model, nothing to get upset about missing out on, but decent. Really hard to work out what was happening with the official paint job.

Gonna disagree with you there Bladerunner, I am a fan of both of those 'flappy' jackets where as the first image leaves me rather 'meh.'

To each their own.

That said I will be replacing the Tohaa head should I be fortunate enough to get one. I am sure I have a spare head somewhere that will work.

The new Azra'il fits his fluff now!

Figured I wouldn't care much for the Jaguars though. All of Corregidor has dudes in vacuum suits and (relatively) sensible gear. Why are these guys bare armed and not wearing helmets?

The Alguaciles don't have helmets do they? The Jags look like they have kind of Alg gear but they tore off the sleeves so they can be more tuff.

But yeah.. I don't guess I like them that much either.

Jaguars are, for all intents and purposes, Penal Legions.

They're gangers who are given a choice: An eternal stroll without a spacesuit(it probably makes more sense in Spanish) or a stint in the newfangled Jaguar unit.
The unit was devised as an assault force for enclosed area, focusing on hand-to-hand combat(since they used to be gangers it was easier than training them in fire discipline and other military techniques). After they finish training and are put into a Jaguar unit they then get stationed in their home modules in Lazareto, taking over some policing duties from Alguaciles and essentially serving a "Solomonic role", averting gang wars and leaving the gangs alone as long as they don't stir up too much trouble.

If you want the full fluff bit, pages 115+116 in the N3 "Core Book".

Yeah, I read the fluff. Their background is pretty much the same as the Wildcats. I just would have preferred for them to have a more complete uniform, or at least a more interesting one. As it is, these guys basically just look like a Corregidor version of the Morlocks.

That's pretty much what they're meant to do though, right? Be Correlocks? Trade in metachemistry for... something?

I definitely prefer Morlocks but then, they're one of my favorite things about Bakunin. Having an equivalent unit type seems useful, but certainly not for me.

Trading in metchemistry for Vogged and Regular! Well worth it IMO. I can't recall what Morlocks CC skill is but Jaguars are CC21 MA L2. So pretty handy units, definitely buying some.

Heh, they're actually on the same page, adjacent even.

CC 22 with kinematika L1, MA L2, metachemistry.

Morlocks have 2 more wip, same physical, and what I noted above, otherwise very similar.

Jags can get a gluegun for only .5 SWC and 13 points though, so that's interesting. And there are no 6-8 point Jag options, like the chain rifle Morlocks or MorCRAPS.

Being regular does have it's advantages though....

Linkable in Corregidor! I think both would have value in a vanilla list: Morlocks for cheapness, assault pistols, and random metachemistry benefits, Jaguars for orders and dogged use. CB all over the game balance, as usual.

Imperial Guard: 4000 pts

Sometimes the 3D render previews don't do the final model justice... I hope that's the case because they don't look all that exciting for "jaguars"

The paint job will hopefully spice them up a bit.
