Hi

I'm trying to make Daemonhunter Inquisitor who wear power armor.
I know there is miniatures which wear power armor.
But I never seen them from back.

Are Inquisitors equip backpack when wear power armor?

I'd imagine an Inquisitor would wear the backpack, yes, since power armour requires power... but I don't know about the minis, sorry.

Of course they do,backpack has a subatomic(fusion) core which powers it.
Here's a pic from Second Edition Rulebook.

Power armour can take many forms and it ussual does have a power pack for the reason above. Althouhg it does not, and in most cases wont, look like a marine power pack.

Here is inquisitor tyrus and an image of a conversion of that model from the side so you can see the back pack.

There's also sisters of battle back packs as well which I'm sure you'll be able to find an image of on google.

Basically it can look like whatever you want it to.

Not sure if Rogue Trader counts but some of the Inquisitors there wore some sort of weird skin-tight powered armor which was covered by a cloak.

And no, it didn't have a backpack as it was super advanced.

So yeah, do whatever you want.

Like the official Daemonhunter Inquisitor models

As far as I remember, Powered Armour for Inquisitors is intended to work for alot less time than Astartes PA(which is why Astartes has a nuclear battery, etc since they can go for months at a time in the field without access to power to replenish the batteries) which is why "human" Powered Armour generally has no backpack mounting.

As I have Rouge Trader Rulebook(not the RPG) when I first looked at the picture I didn't really thought that Inquisitors first looked like some classic detective.

Astartes power armor can go forever.

Er, no.
It can go for months or even years, but then it loses the "powered" portion--which affects the Astartes' reflexes, autosenses, etc etc.

A quick tip on equiping inquisitor lords. Don't choose power armour (from wargear, you could model as you wish) since they alreay have a 3+ save so you'd just be paying unneeded points.

It's the reason why I stated it...
Here's one I found on google, It's power armour minus the power plant.[url]
