The horse in my opinion is a bit shiny, but that may be because of the camera. I love the colors used. The blue is a lot different from other Imperial Guard armies I've seen, so it gives yours a really cool individual feel.

You've been using WW1 soldiers models, right? Painting them whith the French soldiers color scheme is a really nice touch!

Looking great, I think for a tip we need to see some variety of colours, just to add a little bit of detail !

looking great man. I cant do the salt technique for the life of me. I always have sooo much residue built up it just ruins all the paint jobs. I am jealous that you have a macharius though. VERY jealous. Cant wait to see it done.

I love these guys, especially the tricolore standards. Cannot wait to see more. Out of interest which paints do you use, GW, Vallejo and which shades?

i begin with black undercoat ( for cars ) then I use a large choice of paint GW , vallejo, P3, windsor & newton for paint ; for the shade i mix old citadel inks , windsor and newton, pebeo and the new GW washes.
