Finally found the introduction forum.
I've been lurking in the painting and modeling forum checking out all the gorgeous minis.
I've played for 13+ years (40k and Fantasy), but I'm one of those Chrome Legion guys.
Got my fiance into the game now, she loves 40k, and I'm trying to remedy my lack of painted figs.
I've been to a few of the indy GTs for Fantasy, but I'm really focusing more on 40k now and heading to those tourneys.
I've played Black Templars, vanilla Marines, Orks (small armies), Chaos Marines and Space Wolves.
My fiance inherited my Chaos and I primarily play the Wolves now.
Working on a small Nurgle force to run with her in Doubles tournaments. (Very very side-project.)
The templars are fairly back-burner'd. (May change when they get a new codex as I played these guys before they even had a list.)
I want to build an Ork army, but I've decided to finish my Wolves first before making anything new. That decision figures in largely in my reluctance to start a blood angels army. As well as the fact that I never really liked the space vampires, but the stormraven is so...!

I know the feeling about the blood angels. I want to play space marines and the blood angels have such mega uber awsome units and rules like the storm raven and death company but i don't want to play vampires but i want death company but i don't want to play vampires but i want death company and so on.

welcome! Though I'm somewhat new here myself, it's good seeing there are always more people interested in joining.

It's what we called the unpainted forces back in the day. Since everything used to be metal.
It's not an accurate nickname any longer as most minis are plastic these days, but it just sounds more impressive than grey guys, or plastic marines or something.
