I've been thinking of running a campaign with my little group of gamers. There's five of us all together, and we've recently been working on some gaming boards, and are eager to try them out. I thought I'd test the rules for this campaign on the Dakka community.

Round 1:

750 Point games.
Standard Missions, Deployment, etc.
Every army plays against every other army exactly once, for a total of 10 games, 4 games each.
The players are then ranked, according to the following:

Win-2 points
Draw-1 point
Loss-0 points

Henceforth, the highest scoring player is Player A, second highest Player B, and so on to Player E.

Round 2:

1250 Point games. 3 Objectives, one in the center and the other two placed by opposing players.

Game 1: Player A vs Player B
Game 2: Player D vs Player E

Player C plays in both games, with a 500 point force.

Before a game begins, every player gets a randomly selected mission, kept secret from the other players.

1. More Objectives than your opponent
2. More Kill Points than your opponent
3. Possession of the center objective
4. Protect a particular model
5. Destroy a particular model

Player C, who plays in both games, chooses which player he considers his "opponent" for the purposes of these objectives before an objective is selected. The other two are each other's "opponents".

At the end of the game, the players are given more points to add to their existing scores as follows:

Your Objective passed - 2 points
Your opponent's objective failed - 2 points

The players are then ranked again, A-E, with the highest score being A, etc.

Round 3:

Player E chooses the teams. Each team gets 3500 points.
Then, Player D chooses the mission and deployment type.
After that, Player C chooses the playing order. No seize the initiative. Sorry, Cato Sicarius.
Then, Player B picks 1 any Independent Character in the game to count as a scoring unit.
Player A may then choose between the following:
-force the opposing team to re-roll any Reserves roll up 3 separate times.
-Re-roll his own Reserves rolls up to 2 separate times.

There you have it. I tried to make it fairly balanced, without too many unfair bonuses for the higher ranked players, but I wanted your position in the rankings to have at least a little impact on the final game.
Comments? Improvements?
