Does anyone have experience of mixing 1990's termies with plastic modern Termies.

Do they look wrong or out of scale? Do they look ok? does it spoil the aesthetic of the original?

I'm thinking of converting the following OOP miniature because i loved it back in 1995.

With modern plastic arms and weapons.

They don't look too out of place, but they do look smaller by comparasin.

I have that exact arm on a current plastic term ... I'll try to remember to throw up a pic later tonight.

I have one 1990ish termi with a HF and I always mix him up with normal sm since its so much smaller than the newer termis are.

That guy dates back to way before 1995 - it came out around the same time as the FIRST space hulk game (1990).

I thought you meant the 2nd ed spacehulk termies (which are plastic and were the default terminators in plastic until they were replaced with the modular assault/shooty termies).

They (metal guys) are a bit smaller, but the arms do fit (you can drill sockets to fit the arm locator pins or just drill and pin them otherwise).

Three of my thunder hammer termies are the old metal ones with spare arms from the assault pack (I have 38 metal terminators).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

Chromedog many thanks for the Info.

Just so i've got this right are you mixing Metal Terminator Bodies with Plastic Arms. I've used a Pin vice alot with Plastic and Resin but never Metal, i've read quite a few articles and i believe that i should drill it and put in a piece of Wire /paper clip then attach the Arm that way. Should I hand drill it or invest in an electric small handheld Dremmel type thingy.

Any advice or do you do it completely differently?
