I have been doing well at my local game store with my mech list but i fell that some of my tactics are off. Here is a link to my list http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/276158.page

My first concern is in my deployment. In a normal game it will look something like this.

loota kopta nob wagon burna/mech wagon shoota wagon kopta loota
trukk trukk trukk buggies
big gun grot

Then for dawn of war i just let it all move in on my first turn. Really not sure if thats the best move but it works ok so far.

Turn 1 i get all the shots off and kopta assaults on any open armor, then move forward with the wagons and trukks inside the KFF bubble.

Turn 2 shoot at any units i dont want to be in CC with and assault any weaker units that in are in range. Now here is where i am not real sure if i would try to keep all my units bunched up in the KFF or would i be better off spreading out alittle. Yeah i know its not wise to split your forces in a ork army but after a few games that did not go so well for me i will told that my biggest down fall wall that my unit was bunched to close and was easy to hammer on.

Turn 3 grots will come in and run to a objective or just hide from becoming a kill point, Trukks split off for objectives or head for weaker units in the back with a little help from a waaagh and have my nobz and burnas kill off there toughest unit on the field.

LOL from here out i just shoot from the hip depending on whats on the table and where, no real preset game plan for for the later turns other than have the trukks sneak into objectives at the last minute/move in for some easy kills or hide from becoming a easy point.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!!!! would love to see my orks get a few more wins under my belt.
